Stair access to é from BLT Pool Area

Hey,

Just wondering if there are stairs close to BLT pool that you can use to access pool and then return to room via stairs. We often like low floor rooms as stairs sometimes provide more convienent access (as opposed to going back to more central elevators)

well there are steps - but the elevators are closer to the doors for the pools.

there are 3 elevators on each side - south and north - so the wait is not too bad - besides on the north side you get a view of the MK!!!! while waiting for the elevator

you can go down the stairs but not up... I found out the hard way when I was trying to get from our floor to a friend's floor. I though I'd just use the stairs...well you can't exit the stairwell on any level but ground.

if you don't like stairs just ask for a standard room (1st floor) odd number room. That will put you on the inside of the circle and ground floor. You can walk out your sliding glass door and be with a couple feet of the pool.

this has never happened to me - and I use the steps alot. the ice machine are not on every floor - so go down or up to it and back again.

my last visit was in early Sept for one day and had no problem going to the ice machine 4th floor and back to the 3rd floor.

Unless things have changed recently, we have walked the stairs (up-down) with no problem.

You will find the stairs right inside the BLT lobby, very close to the pool.

There are also stairs at each end of the building. The pool has a side gate (on the Contemporary side) that I have used to enter after coming down the stairs. Can't remember if I was able to go up from those end stairs.

Unless things have changed recently, we have walked the stairs (up-down) with no problem.

They may have unlocked them now due to people like me getting locked in and having to walk down to the ground level LOL
