A while back I posted about my new stainless steel appliances and how awful it turned out to be to keep them clean. I had tried several different things and found them all to be less than perfect. I asked for suggestions and I am happy to report that the best one of all turned out to be...a three dollar can of Endust!!! Thanks so much to whoever posted that one. It's streak-free, you can spot-clean, you don't even have to go with the grain. SOOOO much better than those made-for-stainless products!

Cool! I want stainsless appliances but I was worried about all the fingerprints. I'm going to try it on my grubby looking toaster oven now :)

duelly noted!
thatnks for the heads up -

I haven't finished designing the kitchen much less pick appliances - but that is great to know!

Good to know, as I am assuming that over the next few years we will be replacing our stove and dishwasher (both are olive green so what does that tell you about their age???) and my guess is that DH will want SS.

I think it was me who suggested the Endust. I'm glad you like it. Ever since the woman in the Sub-Zero store told me to get it, I've been using it since. It makes it a pleasure to haver SS appliances. Now, when ever someone touches any of my applicances, I don't cringe.

Well, here's a personal thank you, then! I never in a million years would have thought to try that. I stood for what seemed like HOURS in the Walmart cleaning section looking for labels that said "for stainless steel" and bought almost everything that did say it, and didn't like anything. I LOVE the Endust, it has made my cleaning so much easier. I know what you mean about the "cringing" and now my 2 yr old DGD can put her little patty marks anywhere she wants and I don't break a sweat! party:

Thank you ! Just ordered stainless appliances last week, so this saves me from coming on here in a couple of weeks asking people how to clean stainless :thumbsup2
Does Endust make "pre-moistened" wipes and if so do they work as well? Do you get any build-up of Endust that needs to be taken off at some point?

I live in a small town and we don't get much product selection so I don't know about the wipes. It's been several months now and so far I haven't had any buildup. I always spray the paper towel rather than the appliance, though that's so I don't get it on the floor.
