I think that the fans are beautiful and really fit with the design of the gazebo. Your guests will love them. The bridesmaid's dresses are beautiful too. Everything is coming along so fast.

And don't worry about being nervous on your wedding day. You'll forget all about everyone else when you walk down that aisle. It will be your special moment with your soon to be hubby.

You will love having a rice cooker btw, Dave and I use ours alll the time, let me know if you need any tips it can be alittle funny till you get the right percentages of rice, water, olive oil and salt... I made a few batches that were wayyyy off at first lol.

And the bobble heads! saw those in WDW in march and almost got them too!

Your shower looks like fun! Glad you got through it! Don't worry about the wedding day. Once you see Ryan, you'll forget that all those other people are there. IMO, the shower is the worst part as far as being the center of attention, you can't hide behind DF

And I think "groovy kind of love" will be a great first dance song!!

I agree with you about "Cinderella" I coudln't keep it together either. If we do father daughter dance, we'll probally do it to Darius Rucker's "It won't be like this for long" (we have a really weird inside joke involving Hootie and the Blowfish, so it works for us) but I know it's not out there 'cuz it's concidered country (though I don't think it is very country-y)so I thought I'd throw it out there for you.

Thanks, I sure hope my wedding day isn't as bad. I'm seriously dreading having to speak in front of people. I don't know what it is, but I get so shy. Only with adults though, I mean I'm a teacher and have no problems in front of 18 kids. I will keep looking for other songs to dance with my dad. I'm sure there is one that is perfect for us somewhere...

There was a ton of food, I didn't eat much though. I ate most of it when I got home! There were tons of left overs. It is nice to know what our song is going to be. I'm glad he finally gave in!

I love the bobble heads. I'm not a big bobble head person, but they are so cute cause they are kissing! I'm so excited about the rice cooker. My college roommate taught me how to make it on the stove, but I still wanted a rice cooker! I can't wait to try it out. And now I know who to ask when I mess it up!!!!

Yes, that is in our school's library. It is a nice school. It's only a few years old.

Oh! My mom and I went to some silk floral shop the other day and I fell in love with these flowers. So, I am no longer going with real flowers. We got enough flowers to make our centerpieces and bouquets. They are all at my mom's and taking up a ton of space. I will totally take pictures this weekend and post them.

Did you ever determine if you will be decorating the gazebo at all?

I think I am going to add a splash of clor. I might get those paper lantarns and have them hang at the gazebo and I might steal your idea of fans and use that instead of flowers.

I'm back finally! Funny that you posted just now because I just got back on to check up on everyone and saw my thread was closer to the top! The last few weeks of school were crazy! I had 4 people fail the FCAT, it breaks my heart when I have to tell them they have to go to summer school and if they don't pass that, they are in third grade again! I hate the FCAT!!! But yesterday was my last day! I'm so excited to be done for the summer. Now it's time for some serious planning! I'm glad you were thinking about me!

First of all congrats on your masters! That's awesome! I'm glad you are going with the harpist. she seems so nice and I think it is going to make a very nice touch at both our weddings! Paper lanterns will be nice. We are still debating what to do outside. It's almost nice without anything, but we will see. Now that I'm done with school it's time for some serious wedding planning, so check back as I'm sure I will be updating often!

It really did cut down the bill. Which is what i try to do with everything! I'm hoping this wedding comes in under 10,000. Aiming for under 8,000. I will post pics in a few weeks. We are going to start putting them together soon!

I don't really like being the center of attention to that degree sometimes either. But I know you'll have alot fun! Oh and by the way! Ryan and I have been together 5 years today. Well, technically yesterday since it's 2 minutes past midnight. I told him I can't believe we have been together 5 years, have an almost two year old daughter (she'll be two in a week and half) and WE STILL AREN'T MARRIED! I guess I won't be able to say that next year though! YAY!!!!! 51 days!

Alright, small update. I found a cute candy buffet poem online. I took a paragraph out but here is a picture of it. I'm going to put it by the boxes for the candy buffet.

I also decided to go with shades of green for our table names. This is the mock one I made. Not sure if I will change it or stick to this one.

I should be getting together with my cousin soon to put together our centerpieces. I feel like I have a ton to do, but I'm not sure what else. Oh, and I sent out invitations last week. I got my first two back yesterday! It's so exciting!!

Thanks, she can be quite a handful though! Way too much energy. Thanks about the poem, I found it online, I think it's pretty popular for the candy buffets! I know I can't believe how close it is. I'm starting to get very nervous!
