STA Travel for flights

I've just been told about this online agency who seem to be very competitive on flight-only prices. They are STA Travel, a student organisation who will happily take bookings from the general public. Does anyone else have any experience of them of their service?

I have not used them for flights but have used them on numerous occasions for booking budget city hotels in Europe during my student days.

They were fairly reliable and the only time I had a problem (no room at the hotel in Rome as our booking had been lost by the hotel) they sorted it out within 30 minutes and put us in a slightly better hotel 2 minutes walk away.

I would use them again.

When my son Simon was living in Orlando he used them for his return trip to the UK and highly recommended them. He reckoned that their prices particularly out of peak season were really good. However, he was under 25 which gave him an extra discount I believe. Also he recommended phoning them rather than using their website, because he said that the on line info wasn't always accurate.
