The Champagne Catamaran was so much fun and relaxing! We did this on our December 2001 Eastern.
The host & hostess of the catamaran were super nice and hospitable. They served snacks on the 45-minute ride out to Honeymoon Bay and gave a bit of a narration of the island's history and pointed out the celebrity homes including Alan Alda and Barbara Streisand. When you get there you can swim, snorkel or they will take you on a small boat out to the beach to sunbathe. If you needed instructions on snorkeling, they were very patient with their help and instructions. It was my first time and I was a bit nervous, but after a few attempts, I finally got the hang of it. After you were done, you climbed aboard again for the lunch -- which was very tasty. Finger sandwiches, pasta salads, fruit, etc. Plus you could get beer, champagne, wine, (and I believe mixed drinks) etc. or just opt for juices or soda. The ride back was so relaxing... I ended up falling asleep getting a terrible sunburn, though! Snorkeling can take a lot out of you.
I would highly recommend this, especially if you are cruising without kids. There didn't seem to be a lot of younger children on this excursion...there may be an age requirement. I don't quite remember.
