Same here. The only one I actually remember watching was ER. I know of the others from a TV theme songs CD.
ER was the best of the three, I think. It's the only one I can rewatch.Would like to start watching one of the above....any suggestions?
I love George Clooney and Denzel Washington.
As much as I loved St. Elsewhere the Finale showed that the writers clearly were under the influence of SOMETHING.I loved St Elsewhere! It really hit home for me because I was 1) in nursing school at the time, 2) working in a city ER then, and 3) did one of my clinicals in the actual hospital that St Elsewhere the story was based on (which was a bit of a dump). So that is one of my all time favorite shows (and also where I grew to love Denzel Washington as an actor). I’d love to watch the series again - winding down my career now and with 40 yrs passed. Technology and collaboration has changed so much.
Mrs Hoffnagle? DH and I still talk about that. And I will say, I‘ve thought about it a few times at work over the years, too, lol.As much as I loved St. Elsewhere the Finale showed that the writers clearly were under the influence of SOMETHING.
My mom was a surgical RN. She retired in 1985, so right in the middle of the St. Elsewhere run. My mom told some pretty wild stories about what happened at the hospital, especially during the 9 years she worked graveyard shift in the OR, which often including covering in the ER in quiet times. Some of the practical jokes they played were great.Mrs Hoffnagle? DH and I still talk about that. And I will say, I‘ve thought about it a few times at work over the years, too, lol.
