Visit a land of adventure, fantasy and discovery where there is a surprise in store for everyone!

Join us for a unique 4-day gathering and celebration of all things Welsh. The music, the rugby, the golf, the food, the drinks and most of all, the people. A fun time is guaranteed for all the family at the first ever St David's Welsh Festival at Disneyland Resort Paris, we do hope you'll join us!

Welsh Music and Dance Festival
A medley of Welsh sound and dance. Leading Welsh adult and school choirs, jazz bands, brass bands, harpists, folklore dancers, tribute bands and modern pop and rock artists will entertain the crowds throughout the festival. Performances can be found in various locations such as, Disney Village Main Stage, Billy Bob's Country Western Saloon at Disney Village, The Dome at Disney Village. Daytime performances will be held in The Fantasyland Theatre in Disneyland Park.

Sound of Wales concert - 4th March 2006
A chance to experience the sound of a Mass Welsh Male Voice choir normally only heard in London's Royal Albert Hall, plus supporting performances by a Jazz band and harpist.

Welsh Food & Craft Market
Musicians, dancers and jesters mingle with the crowds in a Welsh street festival atmosphere. Selected Welsh foods and drinks will be available in many of the Disney Village bars and restaurants, daily, from 2nd to 5th March 2006.
Sponsored by The Welsh Tourist Board.

Highlight: Welsh Art and Craft Market. Over 20 selected Welsh market stalls selling Welsh foods, drinks and traditional hand made gifts.
Venue: Disney Village, daily 4.00pm - 10.00pm.

Junior International Rugby - France v Wales - 3rd & 4th March 2006
An exciting tournament where top Welsh and French junior teams will do battle over 2 days. On the 3rd March 2006, four groups compete for qualifying places in the finals to be held on the 4th March.

Welsh Pro - Am Golf Tournament - 3rd March 2006
A memorable experience for up to 76 persons to compete in an 18-hole shotgun competition at Golf Disneyland®, located a few minutes drive from the Disney® Parks. The 2nd March is available for you to get in some practice. Corporate hospitality packages are also available. Prize giving will be at the Welsh Sportsman's Dinner.

Welsh Theme Sportsman's Dinner - 3rd March 2006
A special Welsh theme dinner with preparations overseen by the Welsh Food Directorate, served with selected Welsh wines, beers and water. Celebrity Sportsmen after-dinner speakers followed by an auction of sports memorabilia. Advance bookings only.

What an unusual and charming initiative. Being Welsh myself I'm not sure I would choose it as a reason for visiting the resort but it would be an interesting break and I'm sure it'll appeal to many. Strange that they don't advertise these events on TV.

Yes it is strange they don't advertise it, I don't think they advertised St Patrick's Day either, or maybe they did in Ireland. :confused3

Jill, I'm a quarter Welsh but afraid I am too ignorant to understand what you wrote although I can guess. ;) :)
Now I am older, I wish I had learnt some Welsh from my nan but I guess we always realise these things too late. :(
