Ack! I'm so behind everywhere. Ugh, story of my life it seems!

First off, good morning sweet Kathy! How are you?

Your plans look wonderful. I think you'll really enjoy Kona for breakfast, it's scrumptious! Tim isn't lying! At least not about Kona, I cannot vouch for anything else.

As far as DHS goes, we've never tried Mama Melrose but have eaten at 50's PT many times! The food is very delish, makes you want to just suck on your fingers to get every last drop! Though of course I don't do this, I'm a lady.

TSM is such fun! The last time we rode, DH was like "that was exhausting!" He's quite competitive. Actually, so am I which is probably the only reason I read Marv's TR...for the contests of course. Goodness knows updates on there are few and far between...

The Plaza is certainly on our list from now on, we loved our lunch there on our last MK day too! We were even treated to a show by that lady who's name I cannot remember at all, the loud one. Anyhow, she was a real hoot and my girls thought she was very funny.

How utterly sweet your tradition of giving away a balloon is! It makes me want to tear up actually, I'm sure your dad would be so happy you do that. What a wonderful tradition Kathy.

I'm still impressed that you're keeping the last day a secret from Mark! I'd be so excited I'm sure I'd blurt it out! Yes, I am that kind of person. One who still peeks at her Christmas presents like a five year old girl!

Plans are looking good! And after your Disney trip, you still have a fab time coming up at Marco with Nicki! I'm already looking forward to the TR and you haven't even left yet.

Hi, Molly. I've missed you yet again. I would assume the woman you are talking about at the Plaza is the Mayor's wife -- she shows up there often.

Every time I pass out a balloon, I see a big smile on my dad's face.

I've almost blurted out the secret a couple of times.

I'm not looking forward to the TR because it will mean my vacation is over.

So I left off with our finishing our last day at the MK and passing out a balloon to a child in memory of my dad. We'll get one last bucket of popcorn for me and head to the car.

I'm sure we'll be stopping for gas before we get on the highway. I wonder if we'll see these guys again?

In about three hours, we will be arriving here:

We really do love Marco Island -- it is just so beautiful and peaceful.

It should be around 6:30 when we arrive so we won't be able to pop in and say hi to Nicki at work as she'll already be gone. We'll stop at the grocery store and get beer, milk, bread, lunchmeat, water, some snacks, etc., to bring to the condo with us:

Up next, will we have coffee with Nicki on Friday a.m. before she heads to work and time at the beach.

Great Plans Kathy !!It is such a nice thing to give a baloon to a child in memory of a loved one !! I did that for Christine on one of my solo trips , however when I go with Kyle he would want to be the kid !!

Hey Sweetums!!! Hope you have had a great weekend! Been working on ADRs with my new dates! I might have to borrow/steal your tradition for our arrival day. We leave for our trip on the first anniversary of my Mom's passing. Not sure we will make it into any of the parks that day though.....

Hi, Kathy. Love the balloon tradition. Its beautiful. I am going to have try some Disney popcorn this trip, I think. Maybe without the DxDP I might want a snack here and there. It really is so great that you get to go to Marco, see Nicki, and relax a bit after Disney, which while its amazing, can be a bit tiring.

I'll take lots of pictures in Marco this year and you can show him my TR and maybe that will convince him. We used to do Daytona Beach which we really like. But then we met the crazy lady Nicki on here and the last two trips and April of this year and now September coming up, we head to her!

Hi, Lisa. Our girl Cookie is doing fine...still no signs of illness (just sleeping more than usual). Yesterday she was quite depressed because "Daddy" -- meaning Mark -- had been gone umpping for two days and she had no one to spoil her.
