SSR Turf Club - Reservations & Kids??

We are going to SSR in October and wanted to try the Turf Club Restaurant. Two questions :

1. At that time of year, do you think we will need advanced reservations?

I dont like to plan dinners because we will have our 3 1/2 yr old daughter with us, and as you parents know, we usually just eat when she is hungry, so I dont like to plan ahead with her. So, we would probably go over that afternoon and see if we could get reservations. One thing I assume that would be in our favor, is we would probably eat before the bigger dinner crowd times - she usually gets hungry b/t 5 & 6

2. Does the Turf Club have a decent kids menu?

Looking forward to trying the restaurant.

I was recently able to make a TC ADR during the last week in Sept. when all the other area places were sold out so I am guessing this restaurant is still off most radars. You should be able to get in walk up especially at the time you are considering.

I would check out the online menus to see the kids meal but they seem to be pretty much the same all around the parks.

hi my kids really liked what they ordered from the Turf. We just walked up and got in at about 4;30pm(Dec 4). The CM's took our 5 yr old DD on a horse race around the restaurant and she got a little toy horse to boot.

We had an ADR for the Turf club. We thought it would be nice to relax in our resort for dinner and not worry about having to be someplace in the parks at a specific time. Our 5 year old and 3 year old liked their dinner and especially their ice cream dessert. They bring out the ice cream and the toppings are in the ears of a Mickey shaped plate so they could make their own sundaes. They had as much fun making it as eating it.

I would agree with all those who have responded so far. Very nice and the kids will enjoy it. They ahve the typical kids menu (like most Disney restaurants). Everything we had there was great.

We feel the Turf Club is one of the nice little secrets! LOVE it, an we have 2 ADR's for there in November.
