SSR to OKW?

What's the best way to get from SSR to OKW? Our home resort is SSR but we love to eat at Olivia's. Can we take a boat to OKW or do we have to go to DTD then back to OKW? TIA

You can take the boat to DTD and then switch to the OKW boat back. There is also a walkway along the water if you want some exercise. It's not lit so you should only do that during daylight hours. Have fun!

We took the OKW boat on Monday. It's such a nice ride. I was hoping to get a glimpse of the otters that live in the canal. Our boat captain said that it took him 2 years to see them, they are not always in a specific area. We weren't lucky on that score, but we were lucky. There was thunder when we got back to the Pleasure Island area, and if there had been lightning, we would have been stuck. That drop off is no where near the busses, and we had no ponchos. We held our breath until the SSR boat came along....wow. I would be very sure that the weather is nice before I embaked on that adventure again. Of course, no guarantees in Florida in the summer, but we were very fortunate.

On the way *to* dinner (when time might be of the essence) I'd take a cab. On the way *back*, the boat would be very pleasant.
