Can anyone tell me what a "hydro tub" is? I booked a hydro massage, largely because I like a water pic shower head:goodvibes Now I am worried that I will be put into some sort of cacoon thing like a tanning bed. Has anyone had a "hydro massage therapy" at SSR or do you know what one consists of?

I had one a couple years ago. It was different that what I expected. You sit in a whirlpool tub in your swimsuit, scents and oils are added to the water and the massage therapist takes a hose, like one that would be attached to your shower head, and basically massages your arms and legs with the water. I had no idea what to expect - I had thought I was going to sit and relax in a whirlpool tub by myself with maybe some candles and music. It was just a bit awkward since it was a good looking young guy and I felt a little self-conscious. He was very nice and professional though. I can't complain too much b/c I've gotten regular massages wearing much less! Overall, it was nice, don't think I would do it again though. The only other thing - my swimsuit smelled like the scented oils (pine i think) for A LONG TIME afterwards no matter how much a washed it - might want to wear an old one unless you want to remember that massage for awhile.

Ok...I took the Mineral Springs water, I hope it's not as aromatic. Thank you..I have about 3 weeks to think some more about it. DH is having a swedish massage, maybe I will change.
