Can someone explain what are orphan points? I currently have a Dec UY resale and I'm looking to buy direct also with a Dec UY for a FW (can't decide which FW).

If you have the same UY (direct purchase will force it) then you are fine.

Orphan points are basically where 1 contract has like 4 points left that can't be used while you have another contract with like 10 points it could have been combined with but since its different UY you have a harder time since you would need to have transferred the points.
