GPPNJ, I think that you are correct in your assessment of SSR. It is wonderful to have the view of DTD from Congress Park and the Springs offers a very convenient walk to the themed pool, Artist Palette, bus stop etc but I worry about staying in the other areas. I want to use the nice pool, have a nice view or feel like I am not tucked away in a corner. I am concerned that i will not enjoy the new sections as much.
I think that a sit down restaurant at SSR is a great idea and with the right theming and menu will draw people from the overcrowded DTD area as well as SSR guests. It could just be a quick boat ride (We waited a long time though to get a boat from DTD to SSR one evening last month when we were there) . One of the joys of Boardwalk is the crowded area and a smaller devdlopment like that at SSR would be welcome especially since the resort is big enough to accomodate a busy area and a wondeful relaxing area too.
My husband very much enjoyed walking around the area too.
All in all, this DVC has the potential to be a really great development.
