Does SSR charge to park a car?

No, Not if you are a registered guest during your stay. All Disney resorts offer "free" parking. you get a parking pass in the winshield (altough the gate will want to see your KTTW every time you go in and out. The printed pass also entitles you to free parking at the parks.

You can also ask for a guest parking pass if you have a guest or relative visiting for the day

No charge for parking. SSR is like a large apartment complex with lots of buildings. There are parkings lots located all over in front of the buildings.
