SSR is growing on me

I just bought into SSR and will be going with the family in May. I have not stayed there yet but I have visited. I was very impressed with the resort.

I think if they jacked up the dues it would be looked upon like any other resort. Bottom line that I have learned is that there are many different people on these boards and different things appeal to them. That is why their resort is the best.

We love the open feel, the tranquility or the resort. We love the spa, the proximity to DTD. My kids love it compared to the other resorts.

We also love SSR. We are about to stay there for the second time and I can't wait. We stayed on developer points in 2009 and fell in love with the resort. I really enjoy spending time at DTD and being able to walk, bus or boat there is great!

We love the horse theme at SSR and the availability to get to Downtown Disney by foot great resort.

We love SSR. One of the biggest reasons is because when we are out visiting the parks and seeing everything Disney, we can come home to our resort and Disney is not sooo in our face! Yes it is still there but we feel it is one of the less themed resorts which gives us a little break from "everything" Disney!!

SSR is our home resort and we really enjoy it. However, we change it up each time we go because I would like to experience all of them if possible. It is really spread out which can be an advantage or disadvantage, depending on what you're looking for.
