For cash, it really depends on what happens with owners reserving. DVC can anticipate breakage…rooms that would be available still at 60 days…but if nothing is there, it may just be too soon..
Disney own 2-5% of most DVC resorts, and while that is a larger number of rooms at SSR due to size, it represents only a certain number of units for any given date. So they may just be sold out, until or unless they get breakage at 60 days.
Cash units at a DVC resort are still represented by points. The owner of those points is Disney, and they "rent" the resulting bookings through their cash reservation system.
Disney often hold some of their cash units at SSR and OKW for UK promos.
SSR 1 BR villas for September dates are already showing up for Interval International inbound exchanges, so Disney may be using their points for that (to get the new program off the ground) instead of just for cash bookings.
