Does anyone who if SSR has either WiFi or Ethernet connectivity?

When I stayed at the BWI last November, I remember reading about internet connection on the disney website, but was EXTREMELY disapppointed to find that the "internet" connection was just a regular phone port on the back of the room phones for 56K dialup.

I am a system administrator and I like to check on my servers remotely every night when I'm on vacation. The 56K dialup connection (which I haven't used in 6 years) was so slow, that I actually gave up on trying to connect to my machines.

Any info would be great!

Thanks!

No, this is a totally new system, it is fast ethernet. it's wired in the rooms for 9.95 a day and 802.11 in some public areas in the resorts that have it.

Geez, you sure are dedicated. I hope your boss appreciates you.

I'm also a sysadmin, but I NEVER check on the kids while I'm on vacation. My staff has an emergency number to call if things get too hairy, they know better than to bug me while I'm at Disney. :p

Besides what am I going to do if there's a crash 1000 miles away? :headache:

I work for a large department of a university in Philadelphia .

I'm it's only sys admin.

When i'm on vaca, i leavebthe little jobs to my workstudies...

They generally know how to fix t ings with some direction.

VNC also helps....
