SSR at $84 a points on 5/20/04

Thought you guys would like to know that I bought 150 points at SSR yestreday for $84 a point. So if you guys are thinking of last minute add ons you still can get them. I think you have to be a DVC member because I asked about my bestfriend and the sales rep said $95 a point for him. (3 150 point contracts) I am broke but happy.( just kidding) First trip home May 2005 24 family members, 4 2 bedrooms can't wait. Thanks everyone this board is the best

Did you get to keep your 2004 points at that price? I am in the process of buying right now, and was told that the price is discounted by $5 ($90) if I want to keep my 2004 points, or reduced by $10 ($85) if I forfeit the 2004 points.

I am paying $90 and keeping (banking) the 2004 points with a March use year.

thank you for the info, but going to member homecoming and knowing the price increase i could pass on an add on, now knowing the points are cheaper i can feel the addiction coming on for an add on

I got to keep my 2004 points the price was $89 a point but they reduced that to $84 and I keep my 2004 points i could have given back disney my 2004 and the price would have been $79 a point. hoped i helped

I asked for this deal, and they would not give it to me. The only thing I could get was the $90 price keeing my 2004 points, or $85 turning in my 2004 points. I am planning to keep my points.

I did talk to my salesman today, and asked if I could buy 150 at $90, and then buy the next 300 at $84 as a DVC member. He said that it was only for people who they had put into their system before the cutoff date earlier in May.

Steve, when did they give you the offer for $84? Did it really happen just this week? I would love a PM on this topic if you feel that it is not something you can type on the board.
