SSR 1BR or AKL Pool view???

I have ressies for SSR 1 BDRM Villa for Dec 9-13, but I can save $400 by switching to AKL Pool view. We will either have 2-3 adults in the room. Should I switch???

If you stay at SSR, you won't have to pay the fee for the extra adult over two. If you stay at AKL, you will have to pay for the third adult.

With SSR one bedroom, you'll have one king sized bed in the master bedroom and one queen sized sleeper sofa in the living room. Plus a jacuzzi tub and a full kitchen and a washer and dryer.

With AKL, you'll only get a standard room, with two queen beds. No washer and dryer. No jacuzzi tub. No full kitchen.

But you don't mean an AKVilla one bedroom, do you?

ok i will probally be the odd man out since i am a very big AKL snob but AKL is my favorite resort the lobby is just stunning and everylittle aspect about it is just great!!!

And just a quick note-you won't get daily mousekeeping at the DVC resorts;just trash and towel pickup;you'll get mousekeeping on day 3 and again on day 5.

We are DVC members at SSR and have also stayed at AKL and for the situation you describe I would go with the AKL pool view room! (unless you have specific plans/needs to use the kitchen in a 1bedroom suite). The overall ambience and atmosphere at AKL is amazing. (And I always vote to save some money!)

Nope, you have it all mixed up. If you have a reservation through CRO, you will get daily housekeeping. If you reserve on points with a DVC member or you have your own points, you will get limited housekeeping. For stays of 7 nights or less, you will get your towels replaced and trash removed on day 4. If you stay 8 nights or more, you get a full cleaning on day 4 and your trash removed and towels replaced on day 8.
