Squirts, Shirts, & Flirts...The Legend Continues (TR started 6-23)

You all share some lovely family traditions! Fondue is always a blast! I esp. like cheese fondue with French bread and veggies. :thumbsup2

An auxilliary tree!? That some kind of gift giving! And speaking of gift giving, they are very generous! Offering to pay for tickets and the whole schmiel is great!!!

Of the two restaurants, I take Yak and Yeti myself, if only for the theming. It looks really nice in there.

Loved the Christmas pics! The boys are so cute in their matching jackets!

We ate at Yak & Yehti last year. We really liked the TS one - I think that's the one you're talking about. The atmosphere was fun, and our food was really good. This will refresh your memory:

when you are on the land boat ride, the mailbox has the number 82 for the house number on it...this is a reference to the year epcot opened.

figment is everyone lovable little purple dinousar but wait he is not a dinousour,

when dreamfinder made him up, he used, the body of a lizard, the horns of a steer, nose of a crocodile, wings big eyes, and a spark of imagination.

so i guess you could call him a crocsteerard.:goodvibes

there are 11 pavilions in epcot,

there are actually room for another 7 to be built.

the entrance to mexico used to be on the side, wher ethe disabled entrance is now, but people would not use it not knowing it was there, and pass right by, so they moved the entrance to the front of the building.

i will leave you with this one,

there are 28 little trolls in the norway pavilian, does anyone have any pictures of them, or if you are going on a trip soon? (hint Jordan) you can take pictures of them and post em if you want.

some are singles and some are doubles.

I have pictures of these. They're posted on my trip report. This was the first trip we saw them. My daughter had a blast looking for them. We don't know how many so thanks for the information. We'll look for 28 next month.

I took a bunch of pictures of the little trolls. Here are the two I already had loaded into photobucket.

I'm loving all the trivia. I need to get that book so we can read on our drive next Friday!

I took a lot of troll pictures last trip. It was the first time I'd ever noticed them so I just walked around taking pics. I'm wondering if they move them around or anything. :confused3 I didn't go back a different day to find out. Guess I will find out this trip. I'll post some in just a sec....

You Christmas pics are great. I want to try that fondue!! Those pictures made me so hungry. I will now have to go out and buy a fondue pot and also remember to use the beef stock rather than oil. :thumbsup2

Good luck on the 7th, by the way!! I'll be rootin' for the other team, though. ;)

Great trivia as usual!!

the trivia book i have is really good also, i forget the name, but it goes through the whole WDW. it does not say them move them around anywhere.

fondue is great, marinade makes the dish.

also for a good dip for the meat when it is cooked, we use onion soup mix in sour cream, very very good that way.

See the one on the window ledge?

I didn't know there was room for more countries in WS, thanks for posting that.

I just hope they don't do a Brazil one....can you imagine the chanting/singing and revelry that would go on there when the tour groups came through? :scared1:

Great updates Dan! Loved the ticket surprise and the photos.

:faint:

Sweeeet! Is he looking to adopt?

yeah, you need an asian in your family...;)

lmao:
every family needs one right.

AND a pudgy Texan!

yeah i would vote against a brazil one for sure, with the encounter we had with them on our last trip.

do you remember that one?

that depends does that pudgy texan cook a mean steak or how about some beer brats?

popcorn::

you might be leading the pack of others who have asked to be part of the family, however it all depends on if someone else can cook anything better.

it must be better than my stir fry i make and home made egg roles

the egg roles fillings are cooked in a honey pineapple mustard sauce and then rolled into the shell and fryed, ohh man, mouth is watering thinking of them...they are soo good if you dip them in a sauce you will ruin them, they are that good on there own.

A quiz! Now I have not gone back to check....but I'm thinking that was the argument at the parade? You staked out a good spot, had a good chat with your neighbors who also staked out their spots, and then as the parade started some rude people crowded in front?

I'm thinking you had that situation, but I'm not sure if it was with Brazilians!

Oh wait, yeah I think it was. They pretended they didn't speak English and you were like "you understand what I'm saying!"

that is correct, very good memory...that is pretty much spot on for what i responded back to them.

yep they were brazilian tour group about 100 of them.

I was stuck next to one of these wonderful people when I went to Fl. a couple of summers ago. She got seated in first class next to me (the one time I've ever sat there, and the one time I paid for it), as we're eating breakfast she proceeded to choke on her breakfast cereal and then threw up on her tray. Now, while I'm glad she wasn't choking any more, I was kinda miffed she ruined my experience sitting in first class. If she hadn't been trying to act like a goof and being loud with her friends who were sitting well behind her then she would have been fine. They (meaning the whole traveling team, including a couple who were suppose to be leaders but pretty much hung all over one another swapping spit off and on....that is between yelling at other members of their team on the plane or in the airport) mostly yelled back and forth to one another on the plane......and they didn't care if they were at the front of the plane or the back of the plane. Oh, the reason I had the pleasure of hearing them yell at one another in the airport.....everyone had to get off the plane because of mechanical problems and we had to wait a couple of hours in the airport to see if we needed a new plane or if they could fix the one we were on. We all had to stick close to the gate, so I had the pleasure of hearing them for a few hours off the plane....as well as on. Lucky me! After about an hour or so back on the plane they settled down, but still! Sheesh!

:yay: ::yes:: This pudgy Texan can cook a mean beer brat!!! I loooooove brats freshly cooked on the grill, and that's not a gas grill either :snooty: Only mesquite wood with charcoal will do my friend.

you might be leading the pack of others who have asked to be part of the family, however it all depends on if jordan can cook me some good general tos (sp) chicken

Mmmmmm, I'm thinking we all need to have a meet (THE WHOLE CLAN OF US) at someone's house and everyone bring their favorite thing to cook! You all can come to Texas! :yay: I would love for you all to come and have good fellowship and food, over the course of say....like a three day weekend?!? Spring break is always a good time to come and play in Texas....I'm just sayin.

that sounds like a fun trip on the plane.

your brats sound really good, i want to get a table top smoker this spring for cooking, just need to find a good one, that wont break the bank.
