Squirts, Shirts, & Flirts...The Legend Continues (TR started 6-23)

Chapter 12. Disney Mail(sort of) and Disney Treats

It has been a while since I did an update, and a disney update at that.

We have entered the double digits, actually have soared into them with out even noticing. We are almost at 2 months to the trip and it does not even seem possible.

But I know that it is getting closer...since, I just recieved my GC in the mail from my disney visa card...I cashed in for 78 bucks, and now that I have it, i can call and have the money that is on my rewards loaded onto it before we leave right now im up to about 7 bucks again, so hopefully i can hit a full 90 on that card before we leave.

Then i also cashed in for my other rewards card, i have a 250 and a 100 dollar one coming in the next few weeks.

Now most of you are probably aware of the toy story movies that came out on tuesday, well, candi was at the disney store with parker for the special read along they had

She said that parker walked in grabbed a buzz and zurg doll and then went and sat on the toy story beach towel, and listened to the story being read while he hugged the stuffed animals.

She bought the 2 movies, and had a 10 dollar off coupon, plus when she bought them there, she got a 20 dollar disney store gift card back to use in the store, plus 4 pins, a woody, buzz, jessie, and a alien.

edit: also i forgot that we got a code to enter for 2 free tickets to see toy story 3 in theaters. thanks sharky for reminding me.

So that was one heck of a deal i thought.

then we got his 2 year pics taken, and we went to eat at the olive garden for dinner.

a great tuesday had by us, and of course we came home and watched toy story 1 with parker, he loved it.

Thats about it for now,

will be back next time with a continued update for disney trivia and other activities that we have planned.

feel free to ask anything about our trip you think i am missing.

sorry there were no pics this time.

I still have a Visa rewards card from last year. There's no money left on it, but the card is good through the end of the year. I have some reward dollars on the credit card that I can transfer to it. I can do that right before I leave, right? I mean, if you don't have a card already, you want to start the process for that several weeks before your trip, but if you already have one it's like an overnight thing to get your reward dollars put on it, I think. Is that your understanding?

Wow, it sounds like Candi really made out on that Toy Story movie deal. If she would have gotten anything more you guys would have to report it on your taxes.

Good deal on the Toy Story Buys

We bought the Blue Ray Disc for Toy Story I with bonus disc with toy story 3 previews

In there was a code that when you logged it into movie rewards, it gave you a coupon for one free movie ticket for when Toy Story III comes out :cool1:

Great Toy Story deals and how cute is Parker with buzz/zurg and the towel!

That's my understanding. We requested ours for the DCA trip and it took about 3-4 weeks. Now that we have it though I think you can transfer reward dollars to it online without even calling and it's instant. I didn't know they expired though...is that the case in a year? I thought once you had one you could just keep re-using it and reloading it. Guess we need to read the fine print!

I put all the boys summer camps on it to get reward dollars :rotfl: we'll pay it off before the bill was due but I got a kick out of that. Need to get some more rewards if we use all of these in Cali!

My actual card has an expiration date embedded on it. It's December of this year, which is a little more than a year and a half after I got it.

edit above we also got the toys story three movie tickets.

i ordered mine, about 2 weeks ago and it came on tuesday in the mail.

not a bad turn around...she did say to call in before our trip and transfer the rest of the money we spend on it between now and then to the card.

i would say that you could just call and transfer yours, or you should have plenty of time if you want to order a new one.

thanks for reminding me about the toy story 3 tickets, i forgot about those. i edited above to reflect it.

i love those movies and cant wait to watch the 3rd one.

when parker watches his disney movies he holds whatever toy he has of that movie while watching it, and then when the character comes on screen he hold it up to the tv to show them to eachother.

and he woke up yesterday morning and ran around the house yelling B B B looking for buzz to watch toy story with him.

Sounds like candi did VERY well !!!! Love those deals !!!! Your day sounded Perfect!!!

it was alot of fun, and parker loved it.

i didnt know you could do it online, that is neat.

most of our bills i just put on the credit card and then pay those online as well, might as well get more money for disney by paying bills with credit card.
:thumbsup2

That is too cute about playing with whatever character toys he has while that movie is on.

Trent used to do that.

He was obsessed with Toy Story Movie. We watched them about 4-5 times a day...so crazy :rotfl2:

he was like that with cars, wanting it every day, but now he picks out different ones from the DVD cabinet, and pretty much watches a big variety of them.

Howdy Dan! I've been away for a month or two, good to see you makee it into double digits

You're really doing great wrangling those rewards cards, way to go. That sounded like a very cool day at the Disney Store - nice family outing for sure. And nice score on the TS3 tickets :thumbsup2 We just re-watched TS1 & 2 this past weekend :goodvibes

Here's to hoping your house continues to gain value as you move forward with the house transition :)
