First let me start by saying that everyone who put there responses to the question within ther eresponse and in a different color i just read them all, but am to far behind to be able to take them out of that response and put them in to quote the...i mean you guys do want me to continue on with this TR and the side TR dont you.

thanks, we did and, cleaning memory sticks is when i get the old pictures off and format them. ( i think you asked that question)

My family usually starts packing around a week before. We dont put anything in the suitcase (with a few exceptions) until the day before or the day that we leave depending on what time we leave. We pick our clothes out around 5 days before just in case something needs to be washed, etc. We also put half of the amount of clothes in each suitcase for each person ( for example- if we are going away for 8 days and we are using 2 suitcases, 4 outfits would go in one suitcase and 4 in the other suitcase). We do this just in case the airport loses one of our suitcases, we know we have clothes to wear.

that is probably one of the smartest ideas i have heard, we have never thought of that or have done that, but i will make a note and let the wife know about that for our next trip....thanks for the tip.

I start packing about 7-10 days before, do a little each day

I get the mail set up a few weeks before and then remind them like two days before, as I am paranoid like that

Lawn can wait (nothing wrong with a jungle)

It is better to have more underoos, then not enough, so I always pack more than I actually need

well as you might have figured out or seen from others, we went to maui for our trip.

well as far as the underoos, i think i took about 8 pairs and only wore 5 for the 17 days...hey i was in a swimsuit pretty much from when i woke up to when i went to bed.

Congrats on the camera! I got the Olympus Pen e-pl2 which is a competitor to what you got. one of my favorite things is the penpal...which lets me send pictures straight from the camera to my phone (FB/Photobucket). It has a lot of fancy options too but I've not played with them all. I definitely need to work on my indoor low light settings still as I've just not been indoors all that much while using it but have gotten some cool night/sunset shots. Overall I am REALLY happy with it

yours sounds cool as well...i love mine just wish i would have got it sooner for the trip as i knew how to use alot of the features, but there was a few that if i knew of the special settings would have turned out awesome...but i cant complain the ones it took look awesome.

that "part" of the trip was the best part of the first day.

That camera looks suh-weet! Mine doesn't do video, which is a shame. Can't wait to see your new super-duper, high-res pictures.

the high res are great with it, you should see how clear they are on the 50 inch flat screen when you play them back...one thing i found on it after i got home was the widescreen setting for pictures...could have been taking all the pics in wide screen mode for larger TV's but took them in normal mode which is your typical 4x6 type picture.

but they do blow up very very nice.

and i think you will like some of the panoramic ones i took.

thanks it is a great camera and i would recommend it for a DSLR type camera if you are in the market does everying i wanted plus much more.

i dont see you as the repacking type at all.

I know at least part of it, because at one time (a life-change ago) there was a chance that we'd be at the same place at the same time.

Well, single 16 year old Tanya who picked those names out didn't take into consideration that the other half of the parental units might want a little input. . Although the name James did come up with #3, but by then we had already started our Cubs player theme....and Doc pretty much confirmed that direction when they got the baby out. He asked us "so, is this one Mark Grace?"

yeah that spouse kinda gets in the way of those plans huh.

Arrival day -- checked in after landing and took a walk in the moonlight on the beach

First full day -- slept in; had breakfast, went to beach, had a candlelit dinner

A very brief update I should have posted sooner! Dan and Candi made it to their destination safe and sound! He texted me yesterday morning his time to see what time it was on the East Coast so he knew the time difference.... I had texted him late the day before thinking they would already be there and he told me they made it safe, but they were still on the plane......... If I hear anymore updates I will keep you guys posted!

well when i turned my phone off of airplane mode, it showed and we were still taxing to the gate...i should have texted you when i went swimming with some wildlife...that was very cool.

wow you got them all right except for the come home day, so kudos on that...as far as the daily guesses, wed, right except the eating out part.
thursday was wrong...we did not hit a luau this trip.
um, friday, lets see, without my notes, my memory says we did not go out, but we did have a pool side picnic at the resort since they had a BBQ that day.

Well now I'm all caught up as your trip is drawing to a close. Congratulations on having a little girl. As a daddy to two sweet princesses, I will tell you nothing compares with the love you feel from your daughters.

I've enjoyed reading about your trip and appreciate all of the pictures. I especially enjoyed the early morning chapter when you and your wife ran over to WL. While I wouldn't contemplate running anywhere at Disney World (except, perhaps to score a FP or a funnel cake), I do enjoy the early morning there. Some of my favorite memories from PORiverside was my morning coffee walk. The lobby at WL is especially beautiful in the early hours when it's so quiet you can actually hear the music. On our last trip to the CR, I was up exceptionally early one morning and really enjoyed creeping around the 4th floor and the 2d floor. Of course, sitting on our balcony watching the MK wake up is always a treat.

I've been skipping along just reading your chapter updates and not reading the commentary in between so maybe you've already answered this, when is the baby due and when are y'all headed back to WDW?

thanks, i have really enjoyed writing the report as it was nice to take my time on this one and not feel rushed to put out a update, but still have a few more chapters to go...i like your comment on the funnel cake. that would be really cool to see things start to come to life in the MK as you get up.

our baby is due the end of august the 28th..and right now we are thinking of going back in the fall of next year, so about 15 months away that way she will be a year, but we havent booked anything yet.

umm, wrong again, you would have been safe if you went with beach or pool each day.

1. It depends - Disney a week ahead of time; all others a couple of days. Only because Disney we usually need summer clothes when we're not wearing them here in CT.

2. I upload all pictures and video to computer from a vacation as soon as we get home but for every day to day things I'll do it the night before we leave to make sure my memory card is all nice and clean.

3. If I see my neighbor I will tell her that we're going away but otherwise my husband has an uncle that comes up and checks on the house for us.

4. Plans for vacation usually happen only a month or so in advance. We're mostly camping this year because we got the new camper last year.

5. I take extra undies

Now for where you're going I do believe your going to Hawaii with your parents in their time share. I don't remember when you're coming home but I do believe you were going for a week or so.

well we actually had no power at home the first few house, then the sunday was sent cleaning up around the house...
and now i am in the process of getting the pics from both cameras in order, and to do that, i am having to rename them in order with numbers so they all line up in the file together...allthough i might have been able to do that by just using the sort by date function but not sure if it is accurate with the time difference onthe cameras that were assinged to each picture from the time change.

How was the flight home??? Did you have another DISMeet??

it was good, with one hickup, that i will share with you later...sadly we did not have a dis meet on the way home it was sort of the perfect storm that it didnt happen or that i wasnt able to get in touch with her.
