Dan I did mentiona Photopass !! But we are the only group going this time and they sorta didn;t take the Bait !! I am gonna push that they include it in all the vaction packages for the guys it would only cost each of them about $20 tops and when I got the CD I could print pix and send them!!

Love the sleeping pics, especially the Tink shot. Where is the Captain Hook spot? I need to write that one down for the boys.

once again we are about 1 week between updates which i am sorry for, but once again been very busy for an update.

however some good news before I begin, in the last 2 months candi has taken and passed her realestate classes and taken and passed her state certification test on the first try...she has one more interview tonight on offices that want to hire here, then she has to pick which office would be the best fit for her.

so she knows that the markets are down right now, but she really enjoys doing that kind of stuff with house hunting, so she will fit in good with it i am sure.


Chapter 17. Chip and Dale went to MJ Dance school

we last left off with rumbly tummys and thoughts of a great dinner in our heads...our destination was liberty tree...i wasnt sure what it would be like now without the characters, but we were soon to find out.

it was empty when we arrived in the waiting area.

as you can see someone was still sleeping, he was knocked out for about an hour and a half.

did we miss the characters no it was okay, we had other character meals, and we liked being able to eat and not have to worry about the extra time the character meal adds wheninthe parks.

someone woke up right before the main course came out.

i had a picture of my food but it was blurry so i wont share it, it was very good again this year, we got extras of all the meats and the macs...and the potatoes and the green beans, we got extra of everything...my parents were impressed with it, and they both loved hte ham the most with the glaze that was on it.

afterwards we let our stomachs settle and hit the train again for a trip around the park.

we wanted to make sure parker got another ride in since it was getting later in the day and we had a few fast passes to use up.

after the train ride candi and i did our walk on to splash mountain, the line was non existent for the fast pass line, we walked all the way to the front and didnt stop till we were 5 people back from getting to our boat now the other line that was a different story.

is it just me or do you guys feel special walking past everyone else thta is looking at you like hey why do they get to go over there and no wait.

what was the rest of the family doing you may ask, well they were on a mission but first they stopped for there own photo shoot in front of the castle...i love this one of my dad and parker, now if only i could crop out my mom and give this to my dad it would work out great.

this one is pretty neat, candi and i never got a chance for this shot.

they continued on to there destination which was toon town.
to get parker his first set of mickey ears, candi and i were happy they did this but a little upset we were not there to see him get them...papa said he wanted to get them for him, but we didnt know he was going to get them without us that night...but we were over it and glad they got some good pictures of him getting them so we could see them.

next up we met them in front of space mountain,
where they were having a dance party in the location where they built that stage and no longer use it for the show it was intended for.

parker and candi had a blast dancing around to the music
when we first got there it was pluto and goofy dancing but they left shortly after and chip and dale came out.

these guys were great dancers, the video doesnt really do it justice but you can see how good they were on the michal jackson dance moves...


another video because he was dancing so close to us in the crowd and because i think the guy behind him was doing a good job dancing as well.



i wonder when they started serving beer in MK?

pretty soon they were back from there ride on space mountain and took parker on the TTA

then went on CofP while we took our turn riding SM

our line for the fast pass on SM was moving so fast that i was able to get off a few shots of the line to show in case anyone wanted to see the new additions to them, i really liked the game area they finished up one game and were moving forward when we came upon them.

the rest of the line shots were kinda neat a little blury since we were moving so i dont want to give you all a trippy headache.

i was also able to take a few while on the ride before i got yelled at by the hoovering voice above us on the ride to put that camera away mister.

i think this one was in the ramp that takes you by the TTA cars.

i wasnt sure where the ride photo was so i just thought i would smile till i found it.

actually it found me.

we head off the ride and go in search of the parents...which we couldnt find so what to do what to do?

the parade time was approaching and we a mission to complete?

Dan, I figured I would come over here where my REAL friends are, and what do I find but another TR update! I really enjoyed reading this one my dear friend. Good to hear about the food at LTT. This is another restaurant we haven't tried yet but plan to in the future. Sounds like that would be a wise move.

Yeah, that's tough when the grandparents do stuff that you wish you were there for. Had to deal with that a few times as a parent too. Parker's smile is about as big as mine was when I got my first Mickey Ears..........on our trip last summer. Agree about the one picture of your Dad holding Parker! That is a really good one of the two of them.

And what's up with that mysterious voice? If I ever violate the rules, I get nailed. There was one guy last year taking numerous flash pictures on PotC and they never said a word, not that I think he would have understood them if they did!

Love Chip and Dale. They are two of my favorites; always getting into stuff. I guess it is because I am so quiet and polite and wish I could be more like them!

The funny thing is that when Matthew was about 2 we had a trip planned to take him to WDW for the first time. Shortly before we went, Alison found out she was pregnant, so she couldn't do too much while we were there. Then a few years later we scheduled another trip to take Jonathan for his first visit and sure enough, not long before our trip rolls around, she found out she's pregnant with Andrew, so once again we had fun at Disney while she had to take it semi-easy. Thankfully when we took Andrew for his first visit a few year later, we figured out how to put an end to that madness and she was finally able to enjoy the rides with us!

Great update!

First of all, huge congrats to Candi.

Parker and his ears....Parker and grandpa....Chip and Dale. Good good stuff.

I totally hear you about being bummed about missing the "earing".

You know, I love my parents. I love my in-laws. but they, like the rest of us I guess, get caught up in the moment, of having "their" time wth the grandchild and just want to have that special moment. Which, at times can leave us, the parents, in the dust. Forgotten entirely.

It can be a huge bummer at times and occasionally really frustrating but....they meant well and those smiling smiling pictures do ease a lot of the disappointment I hope.
