I am sure this is out there....

does someone have a link of someplace that easily has the square footage comparisons for all the Vaction Clubs at WDW.

I am going with 8 people and want to look at all the 2 BR's.

Thanks.

OKW is the only one you want to consider with eight people. All the rest are too small.

With 8 people, you might also consider AKV at Kidani Village or BLT. Both of those resorts will have 3 full bathrooms in the 2 bedroom units. All the other resorts, including OKW, will only have 2 full bathrooms.

That extra bathroom may make the space "feel" bigger because you aren't sharing that "personal" space with as many people.

Here is a link...

Click on the individual resort on the left and then click on the Accommodations link. BTW, here are the 2BR sizes...

BLT - 1152
SSR - 1075
AKV(Jambo) - 945-1075
AKV(Kidani) - 1173
DWL - 1080
BWV - 1226
BCV - 1083
OKW - 1395

Thanks...I was hoping someone had it all laid out and didn't have to click on each resort! You did that for me.

I have stayed at OKW and the 2BR is huge! I love it....I was actually deciding between that and AKL (kidani) due to the 3rd bathroom. Tough decision between the 2.

2 married couples, 1 single dad, 1 teenage boy, and 2 young adult girls (ages 21, and 18). Now you see why the bathroom might be a key. BLT would be awsome..but a LOT of points.

Thanks again...

You could also look at the SSR Treehouse Villas since they have three bedrooms for the same amount of points as an SSR 2 bedroom.

You should also consider who is sleeping where. Are the young adult girls the children of the other couple? Would they sleep in the 2nd bedroom? Who would get the pullout couch? That's the other thing with Kidani and BLT...there's a sleeper chair for that "odd" person who can't/won't/shouldn't sleep with someone else. (There's always air mattresses that you can bring, too.)

Remember at OKW you will need to be in building #30 and above to have access to a bathroom from the living area. Otherwise people need to access the bathroom by going through the bedrooms. Not the best situation if someone needs to go in the middle of the night.

The sleeping arrangements at the treehouses may be good, but again there are only two bathrooms (one in the MBR and one in the living area). For a larger group of people I think I would prefer BLT (more points though) or definately the Kidani 2BR at AKV.

You may want to consider the layout of the room too. We just had a split stay between SSR & AKV-Kidani, Kidani's layout felt sooo much bigger. The entry area at SSR + the layout of the kitchen made the main livivng area feel small to us (still nice, just felt much smaller).

Loved Kidani and the 3 bathrooms though!

We've only had a 1 bedroom at OKW, but loved all the space there & the larger balcony.

Thanks everyone...

The girls are really teenagers/young adults.

I am thinking Kidani is the best option...I hope we get it at the 7 month window. Finbers are crossed.

The treehouses were an option, but don't want to go up and down stairs for my mom.

I am in the minority here, but I am going to give you my opinion anyways!! :lmao:

Our last two trips we stayed in a two bedroom unit with 6 people. I think it is important for you to know the same 6 people were there for both trips. 1st trip was at OKW and the 2nd trip was at AKV Kidani. We all felt the third bathroom was a nice feature in the Kidani two bedroom, BUT we ALL agreed we preferred the space in the OKW two bedroom. Living area, kitchen and bedrooms were all more spacious which made moving around much easier and enough room to store all the luggage pieces. Not to mention the laundry ROOM, not just laundry in a closet, was fantastic.
