I would be good with that. Reality is, I'm signing up regardless of theme. Or distance for that matter. But it would be nice to at least know the prices of the events.

I really wanna know the theme, but like you, I’m signing up for the whole weekend regardless, so if they’d just tell me how many miles I’m gonna be running, I’d be satisfied for the time being.

There was a dude at the 10K last year that was running barefoot until the officials caught him and made him put his little foot covering things back on

I'm new to this forum but interested in this because I'm in Disney until April 15th, and could change to the 16th. Can you sign up for different days/events? Or does it have to be the whole weekend?

You can sign up for any single event, or combinations. Some races are grouped in a "challenge". If you register for the challenge and run all the races in the challenge you get an extra medal and t shirt.

You should be able to sign up for each event individually. We don't know for sure, because they haven't released the events yet. But normally you can.

I know I'm weirdo, and definitely in the minority (I think it's just me and my husband), but I would love if they just announced distances and not themes. We don't find out themes until merch release. I would be fine if we didn't know the theme until the expo.

I'm with you. The point of the surprise is the unique events, not the theme. I really don't care about the theme one way or another, if the events are unique and not just another 5K/10K/Half/Challenge weekend I'll do them provided a spring trip is in the cards.

I keep coming back to the thread expecting to see a bunch of comments and all this great info on the distances, themes and race info. But I am going regardless - booked WL at 11 months. Would be nice to know what I am paying for before I register though…. They have got to at least give us distances, don’t they?

Right now we don't even have prices on the races. We don't even know what we will be paying.

Because I’m bored and avoiding work, I scrolled back in the rD twitter account to see what time of day race themes have been posted this season:

Princess: 2:46pm eastern
Marathon: 5:30pm eastern
Summer: 10:03am eastern
W&D: 4:30pm eastern

Apparently, the rD folks are mostly not morning people. Which is ironic for races that make us get up hours before the crack of dawn

I really thought we would know something yesterday, then today. I just can't believe they are waiting so long to announce something. I'm like Baloo, I'm going to register either way, and I've got my room at Wilderness Lodge, but throw us a bone RunDisney!
