I forget, do they have actual photo stops for GE in Hollywood Studios? Rey/Vi sounds like it would be that overhang area, Mando could be an actual stop though, wonder where it would be.

Feels like these character leaks are starting to happen more regularly. Someone on reddit mentioned they were told by a CM last week that Ian and Barley would be out at mile 7 and I was extremely skeptical about this (insert joke about bus drivers here) but... looks like that might be happening after all.

I really appreciated the breeze at times today! Had a good run…stayed with DH who battled hip/ leg pain in February and March, so took it slower, kept to our intervals and kept some in the tank for tomorrow!

IME the first folks get there usually within 15-20 minutes of transportation starting. Sometimes earlier if buses don't hold at resorts. How long we're there depends on the race and how anxious folks are to get to corrals. I'd guess anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour. We tend to linger a bit longer for the shorter races.

In actual GE I don't think so. But Mando might be an actual photo stop at the AT-AT/Jedi Training stage. They had Vader there before, last year maybe?

You might be right, 3.54 miles in feels like it might be before GE based on the map, hard to tell given how it loops around.

Edit to add: I’m taking the bus from WL so I won’t be very early, but I’m aiming to be on the first bus.

I’m not even thinking about how long that line is gonna be.

It’s making me really glad I’ve been running my best Disney times despite the heat. This weekend has really been showing off that heat can favor wheels when it doesn’t kick start our medical stuff. It got almost all of us through the 5k quicker than we anticipated.

Tomorrow being warmer still has me a bit concerned but I’ve apparently muscled up since January so I’m not too nervous as I was.

I just found a new photo from a slightly different angle, cropped and corrected, which most likely means they considered it for one of the social channels. So close, and yet so far! But at least I got a better lit and cropped pic of me and Merida.
