The park is open Fri-Sun, and we'll be going Wed-Saturday. I figured we would do the park on Friday and Saturday, but any ideas as to what to do on Wed and Thursday? The Civil War museum looks like it would be neat and I see they have outlets at Hershey and I can't pass up shopping ;) Any other ideas? We are staying in Harrisburg if that helps. TIA :sunny:

You will have a great time! We did the Spring Preview for three years before moving to FL. We lived about 90 miles from Hershey Park, and would go about twice a year! That was when DD was 3 years - 6 years old. We met friends from NY, and had a great time! I remember the Sunday there one year, it rained all day, but we had the best time even in the rain!

There are quite a few things in the vicinity.

Lancaster has plenty to do, the Strasburg Railroad and the Railroad museum are a good way to spend several hours.

If you're up for a little drive, Koziar's Christmas Village, if open, is worth the trip.

Gettysburg is about a half hour south of Harrisburg.

Outlets? Reading isn't too far away and puts the outlets in Hershey to shame.
There are also outlets and Boyd's Bear Country in Gettysburg.

Haar's Drive In is in Dillsburg and may be open for the season.

Have fun! I used to live just over an hour away. We'd have plenty to do when we took the drive up that way.
