Spring Direct Incentives 2/9-4/27

I’ve heard such stories about the jetted tubs I don’t think I want them! Sounds like maybe they’re a mold and bacteria risk? And it’s already so damp there.
Buy why keep putting them at resorts theyre selling like riv and then take them out if resorts already sold out, thats not cool. But I know riv and ccv use the newer self cleaning ones that are much cleaner, so why not install those? I enjoyed the riv tub way more than the pit one 😔

That could be. I personally dislike the Moana and Incredibles rooms on the cash sides of Poly and CR. Who wants AoA at a deluxe resort? That was 100% Chapek! With that said I do think the Mary Poppins GF cash and Big Pine Key resort studios are tasteful and lobby overall at GF is nice (all probably designed under him too).

We just need to make sure the hards good refurb goes well!
But WE are paying for this…. not Disney….

I'd be fine fronting the bill for Monogram paneled appliances in our dues. What do we need... 100 refrigerators? They're ~10x the price of that Haier model. Maybe when the rooms are torn apart 🤞

We better not get the garage style refrigerator with the freezer on top. CCV and Riviera got those as new builds. PVB IT got french door models. I like the nicer setup 🤣

Yes, definitely keep the French door.

Only 10 days away from the next cycle? Wow!

Is this the right thread for speculation on the next round? If so, here is my hot take: No changes.
I think we can speculate here. I highly doubt we'll see anything other than the same old pattern with the actively selling resorts - slightly worse overall incentives than the last round.

Probably the more interesting speculation - which "sold out" resort will have a flash sale? I'm thinking it's time for OKW.

While I think the next round will be similar, I wouldn’t be surprised if they are more aggressive. Josh is new as CEO and he needs to show some results quickly. While he was leading the division before, he had to align to Iger’s expectations.

Anybody think the slowing economy or gas prices will have an effect on dvc sales? If not this round of incentives but maybe next? Or for the experienced folks does the cycles of the economy have any effect on sales/incentives? I need to buy more points for Nov stay with the family but I need them to be a little more affordable.

I can’t predict the market one bit right now. Seems with all the new gambling options online there may be a lot of number manipulation no matter what, which is causing a lot of stock market confusion. And boots on the ground: I don’t know anyone who isn’t employed in my area.

If there was an easy to visualize recession, maybe DVC prices would drop.

You know what would cause DVC prices to drop…. credit freezing up. Monera, Vacation Club Loans, Disney direct….

Do you think that’s a likely happening? Although I’ve taken macro and microeconomics, I don’t know much about central banks and credit. But I agree that lack of financing options would definitely reduce prices.
