Spring Break

Hi,
I was just wondering when everyone's spring break was. I wanna book a trip while my kids are off but not sure if it will be too too crowded. We went last year during Easter and although it was fun, it was soooooo crowded!!!!

Well since most srping breaks are also Easter vacation this year will be worse! Our spring break is the week before Easter. Starts March 15- through until Easter Sunday. I did book a trip but thinking of going a less crowded time instead.

I asked because my kids spring break is weird this year and thought it might be a good time to go. They are off 2 weeks after Easter so thought most kids are off either the week before or the week after Easter.

Then you might have lower crowds the second week they have off after Easter when everyone else goes home. I wish my DD had a break like this would make it easier to not worry so much about crowds.

New York is off April 21-25, we will be going at this time, do not think the crowds will be THAT bad, as we went this same time last year.

Our break never has anything to do with Easter. This year is is April 7-12th. We live in Georgia.....so alot of folks we know will be heading down ! Many of the surrounding systems have the same week off.

Minnesota spring breaks vary by district. Ours is the first full week of March but my sister 45 miles away is the week after Easter. I would think anything from the end of February to the Middle of April will be busy. This is wait the hotels have hire rates then.
