OK, I really need to do some planning.

I'm thinking more shows, we'll probably skip some of the rides this time. Enjoy the pool more than usual (given we get nice weather), etc.

Anyone wanna share their strategies with the spring break crowds?

Tons of PS's!!! :Pinkbounc Cancel if you want, but make them! I'm hearing that the four counties surrounding Orlando have spring break the exact same week (which apparently happens VERY rarely..) and with that crowd, combined with the completely packed resort crowd, it's gonna be insane! :crowded: ... And other than that, prepare for crowds.... I'm hoping that if I mentally prepare myself for the madness I'm going into, then I'll be ready for hour long waits and claustrophobia ...... Have a great trip!!! princess:

What are the dates for Florida Spring break?

We go often at Spring Break (which is Easter week for us) and we don't skip anything we want to do - it is truly possible -- utilizing emhours and fastpasses. We start out doing the big stuff where possible and getting that done as much as possible in the first few days and then go back and pick up other things later in the week.

It has always worked for us and I have NEVER waited an hour two three etc for a ride....I think my limit is about 20-30 minutes - and that can definitely be done by starting when the park opens or doing the biggies later at night.

We went over spring break 3 years ago and had a great time! We were at the parks at opening times and we left at lunch time. It seemed like we were leaving just when the masses were arriving. We ate lunch and hung out at the pool in the afternoons and went back to the parks at night for parades and fireworks. This works great for us, but I do have to admit we are all morning people anyway. I would go ahead and make dinning reservations now. Have fun relax and enjoy. If you start to feel stressed out take a break. :grouphug:

Our spring break here in the Gulf Coast, Florida is March 28th -Apr 1

I am praying it is not too bad. I went ahead and did the tour guide mike, I am just praying what he says works...........pray for us also... for all of you stroller haters I will have 3 umbrella strollers to be pushing.

I'm from Atlanta and most of this area is out the week of April 4th.

We haven't walked into Innoventions in YEARS. Anything somewhat interesting in there now that younger kids would like?

Thanks!

Lisa, TGM worked great for us on our trip at Easter-time.

Basically, just go early to the parks and leave when they get crowded. If you are there before the gates open, you'll get lots done before most other people are even out of bed. ALWAYS have a fastpass in your hand. If you decide not to use it, you can always give it away to someone who's waiting in an hour-long standby line and make their day. When you get your FP, make sure you look at it to see when you can get another and be sure you get the next one ASAP.

This is a great time to go because everything is open and the parks are open late. There's alot more energy in the parks when they are busy. As long as you're not caught standing in the lines (which you shouldn't be) you'll really enjoy it.
