Spring Break Souvies - 03/30/17

I just got to Disneyland today and took a quick survey of the souvie that are available.

• Red Rose Sipper cups were in stock at the Red Rose Tavern and Maurice's Treat today. The lines were long at both places!
• The hub and Town Square popcorn carts both had the Cinderella Carriage premium bucket.
• The Electric Parade Turtle light-up straw Topper is available at Gibson Girl.
• The Crush Sipper is still available at Award Weiner (DCA) and at the churro cart in Town Square.
• The Popcorn cart on BVS had the red Mickey Balloon Popcorn bucket.
• Not really a souvie update, but some of the Easter Egg for the hunt are already up. I saw a few in DL and DTD.

Are there any special springtime popcorn buckets?

I saw a multi-colored Mickey head backpack or a fleece blanket (castle with fireworks over it) as the options in DL.

There weren't any springtime popcorn buckets that I've seen so far. DL and DCA had different round buckets, but they weren't spring themed.

Notes from Thursday (3/30/17):

• I didn't make it back to FL today, but I did see that the line for Maurice's Treat cart almost looped back to the cart itself (the lines heads towards the castle from the cart, then goes down the pathway, hugs the railing, and the goes back into Fantasy Faire). Based on the length of that line, I think they still had the Sippers.
• Most of the popcorn stands I saw had the red Mickey Balloon bucket. The round bucket is different between DL and DCA, as is the travel mug.
• I didn't get to all of the NOS eateries, but the ones I did see still has the PotC 50th anniversary food offerings. I did NOT see the Pirate Stein.

A brief update:

• I didn't get to the cart, but I noticed that Maurice's Treat cart didn't seem to have a line today. That might mean no sipper cups. [Update: I was at the Cart this afternoon and they did not have the sippers.]
• I looked in at the French Market and they only had the travel mug (no Pirate stein). The NOS food places still had the special 50th offerings.
• I saw the Olaf sipper at a number of the ice cream carts.

And now for the Tomorrowland update:

• Redd Rocketts Pizza Port had the BB-8 Sipper cups and the glass cup.
• The lemonade stand in TL had the BB-8 Sipper and the X-wing Glow clip.
• Galactic Grill had the Chewie Stein and the Han Solo in Carbonite bucket.
• The TL popcorn stand still had the Tie Fighter buckets.

Purchase with purchase usually means if you spend some amount, you can purchase the item for some other amount. For example, spend $40 and you can buy the backpack for $20. It's available to anyone using any payment method.

How long do you think this will be available? Are the purchase w/ purchase items a year-long thing or an as supplies last thing? My kid wants a new backpack this year, and she will wait until October if it's likely to be there. Thanks!

The Purchase-with-Purchase items generally change several times per year. This isn't the first backpack they've offered, but the designs do change. My guess is that by October, they'll be offering something different.

Just a quick update; I spend two days in the park over the weekend. For the most part, I didn't notice any new souvie containers.

• It looks like they might have been out of Crush Sippers at Award Weiners. I didn't see them being displayed in the window like they were in the past, but I didn't go and check to see if it was just temporary (i.e., when I was walking by) or not.
• There are two travel mug available in DCA. There is the green lidded one (Screamin' design) and a the (old) McQueen and Mater one in Carsland.
• Cafe Orelans, Mint Julep Bar, Churro Cart, and the Royal Street Veranda still had the PotC 50th Anniversary food offerings. I didn't check at Blue Bayou.
• The Purchase with Purchase offer was still the same.
