When would you go, based on crowds ONLY... NOT heat, humidity, etc. (it doesn't bother us)

Spring Break? (3/27) or around the last week of July-first week of August??

Remember.. ONLY based on crowds/ wait times! :D

I would probably go during the March timeframe. I think that the crowds will be larger in August with ALL of the kids out of school at that time and visiting the World.

Here's hoping that I am correct as we will be there beginning April 3rd.

Have fun!!!!

I've been three times during the summer and once during Spring Break. I'll never go during Spring Break again. The most miserable crowds I've ever seen. :flower:

The later part of August is a good time to go.
No Crowds, it is a bit warm. The later in August
the better for crowds.

WE went over Easter last year and with a decent plan had an awesome time! The weather was awesome! Good luck with your decision! :cheer2:

I, personally, would perfer to go late August for crowds.

That said, we are going for our first Spring Break this year. One, my 40th birthday falls during Break, allowing us to celebrate it in my favorite place (DS & DH's idea) Two, DH hates the August heat.

I'm hoping that Spring Break times this year are diverse enough to keep the crowds lower than usual. Also, our Break is not anywhere near Easter, so that should help, crowdwise.

I have been both times of year and between the two I would go with August.

We went for two weeks in the middle and the crowds were low. Not that spring break was all that bad with really good planning. But it seems that it rains everyday for about 15 to 20 minutes everyday in August and clears out the parks quickly. If you stick out the rain you have it made!!!

Definitely August....and if you can push that timeframe to the last two weeks of August you'll find that the crowds are *much* lower than the last week of July-First week of August. At that time the crowds are high and it's very hot. But avoid Easter at all costs....it's absolutely packed.

Disney says they are busiest around Easter and Christmas. Yes, August is hot, humid and busy, but not as bad as Easter. I heard that the later in August, the better. A lot of schools, especially in the South, start back in the middle of August. Except for Labor Day weekend, August and September aren't as bad as Easter.

Considering crowds, August would be a better bet for you. Spring break may have longer hours, but believe me, you will be using those longer hours to stand in longer lines. August may be hotter, but it is the better of the 2 choices.

Looks like you are going around Easter, when the crowds are much worse than August. The later you go in August, the lighter the crowds.
On the other hand, we went the last week in April last year and are doing the same thing this year as the crowds were very manageable and the weather just perfect last year. I would go during spring break as the weather is better and crowds lighter as long as the week doesn't surround the Easter holiday.

Thanks for all the help!!

Here is the deal... we went last year to Magic Kingdom and Epcot at Spring Break last year and HATED the crowds at MK!! Epcot was definitaley manageable! But we can't go at the end of August because of school :guilty:

Is there a better time in summer to go or is August better than June or July?

Thanks again!

We go in early to mid June (after Gay Days) every other year and find the crowds to be very managable it is hot, but we are from Texas so it doesn't bother us. We use fastpass and do EE then move to another park if it gets too busy.
