We are visiting WDW March 13-19 (spring break in our GISD in Texas) with my parents. This is their first disney trip and really want to show them as much as possible. I'm curious what the spring break dates are for florida and the northeast, just wondering when in March and April will be the most crowded?

Spring Break will run from the first week in March through Easter. Different schools go at different times, therefore the crowds will vary. The heaviest being Easter week.

We go every year at the same time. Our spring break is always the week with St. Patrick's Day. It is a nice time to go. It is rather busy but the weather is typically very beautiful. It's usually warm enough to swim but not sweltering, and the average rainfall for the month is small. The parks will be open early/late for resort guests. These days are listed now at Disney.com (under the Parks calendars) and you can plan your park visits around this. If you go early or stay late and use Fastpasses, you should be able to really show your family the whole World! We really enjoy visiting in March. It's a little early for the BIG spring break crowds and for us who are sick of winter, the warm temps and beautiful flowers are amazing.

In Mass, Maine and parts of NH, VT, CT and NY, we have two vacations: one in February the week of Presidents' Day, and the other in April, the week of Patriots' Day (a state holiday in MA & ME) generally the third week in April (4/16-4/24).

Here on Long Island, we have February break (a week), 5 days or so in March for Easter AND a week in April for Passover! Talk about nice!!

The Metro Atlanta area has spring break during the first full week of April...no matter when Easter falls.

LI Grumpy Girl - when does the school year start and end for you?

Our Spring Break is March 6-12 - and we're taking our cousins to WDW! Cousin's DS is actually missing school to go with us - his Spring Break is the following week....they are in the Ft. Worth, TX area. We are in the Houston/Galveston area.

We usually begin school the day after Labor Day. We end around the 24th of June...give or take a few days.

Wow I was beginning to wish my kids went to school in NY with all those breaks until I saw when ya'll get out.
That stinks!
So far it seems like only a few regions share our spring break, I'd love to hear from others....

Hey Stephanie:

Amanda and I are planning a trip March 12-19. PM me and let me know where you are staying. We would love to say "hi!" Its sad that we have to go all the way to WDW to say "hi!" when we only live 10 miles apart isn't it?!?

Rochelle
