spring break - any discounts?

I never travel during peak season, so I honestly don't pay attention. Is there any chance of any sort of discount around the last week of March? I have a co-worker driving down to Disney for spring break. They are assuming they would arrive 3/29, and check out 4/3. We always travel in January, so I'm used to getting discounts.

That is right in the bulk of Disney's Spring Break season. Not only will you not find discounts, you're gonna pay premium price at all the resorts. 3/29-4/11 are their max rate weeks for spring break.

If you're used to going in Jan, be prepared to be nearly offended by the rates that week... and by the number of people in the parks.

the current promotion ends on 3/28.
if there is another promotion it won't start until about 4/12

Do you have any details about this offer, such as actual quotes/numbers? I got a quote and it wasn't really even a deal, maybe 5% off? I'd have to go back and check for sure, but I remember crunching the numbers and not being overly impressed. Maybe there was an error in the quote and I should request another....

As for OP's question, last Easter I went with cheaptickets deal with a 20 or 25% promo code. I was pleased with that. The prior year I went with a AAA room discount.

I think the crowds may be higher this Easter because the break falls end of March/early April which seems to be a busier time of year. Last Easter was in later April and the resorts were not full at all, the parks never close to capacity, so we enjoyed great weather and walk-on rides! The only downfall was the inflated resort price.....but we sure enjoyed the low crowds...

Yeah you're right about the 5-10% better than nothing . I'm still going to hold out for hopefully what I got last Easter -- it was either 20 or 25% through cheaptickets.

I do keep checking back on the agency's website but still can't locate the actual offer for Easter break. For 2015, I see listed late January offer and Labor Day offer.

I don't think they have all of the dates on their website that they are offering discounts. The dates are all listed on their facebook page.

We are going during the labor day special so we got two rooms at the Poly for 6 nights with 7 adult - 5 day base tickets + 1 admission to a waterpark or disney quest for $4726.00 total.

I totally wasn't expecting it at all! When I saw spring discounts were released, I quickly logged on to WDW site and plugged my dates in and couldn't believe my eyes. I clicked on each individual night to be sure -- I was thinking maybe they'd leave Good Friday, Sat, and Easter Sunday at rack rate but they discounted those nights just the same! So happy. First time in a very long time they haven't blacked it out.

. I ended up changing our room to WL from POR, very happy to have the balcony option with the kids, and I absolutely love WL from what I've read. Now I'm even more excited than before! I hope OP's coworker gets a good rate!

Just a note. I've gone the last two years around Spring Break Easter. I've always gotten the discount. I was happy they offered it again. We are going third year in a row!

our spring break starts the week of the 9th and I was able to get the 30% offer via AP or FL resident rate.
