Spring Break 2011 on the DREAM

Hello all you 3/27 Dreamers. I am so sorry to have "dropped out of sight". My mother took ill mid summer and eventually passed away in early Jan. I have not been on the DISboards for months. I was not even sure we would do the cruise, but we bought this crusie as a Christmas gift to our family and after a simply horrible Christmas, we decided we could all use this trip for healing.

Eilis, I really owe you an apology for not responding to the PMs. The cruise was put on a back burner. I am so sorry.

Unfortunately, we will not be participating in the FE. But if you are planning a DIS meet, we would love to stop by and say HI!!

Our 2 DGD (ages 1 & 2) are so excited about the cruise. Our 2 yr old can not wait to meet Capt. Jack Sparrow. She says he is so so so dreamy. Does anyone know if we could possibly get an autograph of Capt, Jack? This would be the highlight of her cruise. Sure the Fab 4 and the princesses would be great to see, but this child LOVES Jack Sparrow!!

Sorry to ramble on. Really looking forward to meeting some of you!

Oh Lynda I am so sorry to hear that. Please no worries at all! You had alot of other more important things on your mind Keep checking back for notes about a DIS meet! I'm thinking that within the next couple of weeks something will be organized.

Oh, no!

Due to my mother's many health issues (multiple trips from Minnesota to Texas to care for her), I've been too busy to sign up for the FE. This is my fourth cruise, so I should know better.

We have five people and would LOVE to join in the group. I know we're late... I hope it's still a possibility. Would it help if I promise a fun, completely different gift for the FE? Just in case it's still possible, here's our information.

Since we are now exactly 4 weeks away on the countdown, I am determined to get working on my FE gifts today. I am so excited about this cruise! We made homemade Konk Koolers and sat by our pool yesterday, but it's just not the same as being on Castaway Cay.

I have been working furiously on my FE gifts the last couple of days, I am almost done for this cruise, haven't started the other cruise (doing back to back). This FE group sure is a big one!! I am really looking forward to seeing all the neat goodies that everyone has thought of!!
How is everyone else doing with their pre cruise planning?? I still need to do a final inventory of outfits for everyone, we might need to do a little shopping to fill in the gaps, lol. But I do have a new little black dress and sassy heels that I can't wait to wear- Remy here I come!!

I've started shopping for the kids. Still need to figure out pirate night.

We finally got our cruise documents in the mail today!! It is getting so close!! My goal is to have the FE stuff finished by the end of next week (2 weeks out), then spend the rest of the time getting our clothes together, and doing the last minute shopping that always happens! None of my girls are fashionistas, so I have to make sure they have actual outfits, not just grabbing and packing whatever clothes they happen to put their mitts on! I really need to get working on my FE gifts. I ran out of some supplies so I need to hit the store. My oldest fashionista is already requesting new clothes for the cruise. She wants a dress like the ones Julie on American Idol wore. I have no clue where to find that. My littlest fashionista wants all her princess dresses and tutu skirts packed. That would take up a whole suitcase on its own.

we are in a concierge cabin and participating in the FE on this cruise. does anyone know the procedure to follow re: theFE? I guess there is a 'gate' to this area. If so, what does one do? It appears i will have both a wheel chair and a walker, so getting around is not going to be easy! Sure didn't plan things this way!

I was going thru my DD's closet and dresser doing a "it's too small -> Good Will pile" and to also pull out her cruise outfits and came across a DCL dark navy blue zippered sweatshirt that I could put in Good Will or GIVE to someone that wants it in our DIS Meet group. It would work for a DS or DD and looks to be about a size 8. It has an embroidered logo with the two ship bows and DCL spelled out below with an oval Mickey logo between the ships on the left chest area. It has a hood with a string and is a heavy weight sweatshirt. It's in great shape, just looks comfy from washing.

Hi Everyone! I sent out an updated list this am. Please let me know if you have not received it.

I am so excited for our trip and I have so much to do this weekend. I was able to take Meg out for some clothes this weekend but I will have to have Mike go into the crawl space this weekend and get out our summer clothes so that we can assess our needs. I invested in a few A-line dresses last summer so I think that I will be all set for our trip, the summer may have to go shopping again, but I think I have the trip covered at least!

I got the update, E! Thank you! I am just about done with this cruise, now have to start working on the next one (doing back to back), but the FE list is much smaller (thank goodness). I am guessing this will be the final count since we are now so close to sailing...
My next project is to get all the clothes together for the girls and then for hubby and I. I am sure we will need a little supplemental shopping...Almost there! Cannot wait, the weather here is gorgeous right now, except for all of our pollen and little catepillers hatching all over the place!! Allergy season is in full bloom here in central FL.

I can't wait for our vacation!! We are leaving the 24th and driving down and staying at Animal Kingdom Villas before the cruise. I am soooo tired of the cold weather!!

I am on a two week break from grad school so working like crazy on our FE gifts.

Just ordered the kids gifts baskets from The Perfect Gift!

Getting the suit cases down tonight and doing inventory on clothing.

My question for everyone..what are you all wearing for dinner (minus the semi-formal/formal night)?
