An open letter to Disney Ron:
Go take a walk in the fresh air, visit an old friend or read a good book. Do something, anything to distract you from this situation, because you're going to have a coronary, my friend.
You're way too invested in a multi-million dollar employee of a multi-billion dollar corporation that don't even know you exist.
Apples and oranges (not only in the sport but the level.... teenager vs professional).
Been listening to Belichick have you??I quess it is what it is.
Nope, but he uses that phrase a lot.LOL No, but I'm going to assume he said that recently.
...and, speaking of:Been listening to Belichick have you??![]()
Well, I'm kind of excited to see how it plays out once the season gets rolling. As I recall, after "Spygate" we went undefeated until the Superbowl. When Brady went down and was out for the season, we went what, 11-5 with Cassell? Gronk was a beast last year defending his QB and I can't wait to see him this year! It's all good.
It's NOT CHEATING if there's no rule against it! Again...Geez Louise!!! To do it NOW it would be cheating, but then it was not! Sigh.....Patsies have a long tradition of cheating
30 plus years ago they gave the plow driver the game ball.
So would my Aunt, she's a huge Giants fan! (I forgive her cause she lives in Jersey. At least she's not a Jets fan!)I would LOVE a repeat of that season!! Go Big Blue!!!
My mistake put defense instead of offense.
Disagree. If you are in a sport with equipment you know how it feels/reacts/moves. If a kid can tell his equipment is off than a professional can too. But if Tom Brady can't then I quess it is what it is.
I concur. I just had a conversation about this. Did he want them at the 12.5 minimum? Absolutely. Did he want them under it? I don't think so. And was there or was there not a record of pre-game PSI? Someone posted it to me in this thread back a few pages, but I keep seeing people say they didn't record the pre-game PSI (which is what I thought till the other poster gave me a supposed record of it).however there's no solid proof it was Brady or proof he clearly stated to "deflate the balls to under the minimum or at 11.5 +/- PSI".
Geez Louise! At least we don't throw batteries at the opposing team or anything.
So the ref's that handle the balls after EVERY play couldn't feel it either? I agree that if there are drastic changes they can feel it, but not so in this case. The difference between 1 +/- PSI is nearly impossible to "feel". More so when things like temperature, rain, humidity, etc. could all be factors too (not meaning within the same game but from game to game and practice to practice).
As far as the current penalties, I see Brady fighting this all the way. The NFL wants to "send a message"? So will Brady. I also believe the team will fight the loss of draft picks but not the $1M fine, although they may seek to reduce it. My stance is because its clear an employee of the organization deflated the balls (so that makes the organization responsible) however there's no solid proof it was Brady or proof he clearly stated to "deflate the balls to under the minimum or at 11.5 +/- PSI".
