Spoodles?

Hi! We have a PS for Spoodles one night of our trip, but I haven't seen anyone say much about it here. Opinions please?

We ate there, just my husband and I a few years ago and it was good. We had a table last October, but looked at the menu and it just seemed a little more "funky" then I recall, so we went to the Flying Fish. I have heard people really like it.

We like Spoodles, but we used to like it more when it first opened. I think it was a little more "daring" then, and has backed off a bit over the last three or four years.

Also, when it first opened they used to let kids make their own pizza, bringing over the dough, sauce, cheese, pepperoni, etc. Our kids are teens now so they might still do that but I don't know.

I was at Spoodles last Thurs for dinner and it was very good! Our waiter was great, very attentive. We had three small kids with us (4 mos, 2, and 7) and he made sure that their food came out early, so they weren't antsy and hungry. There were two magicians walking around the room and by the time we left, they had the whole place involved in their acts. Our whole party, kids and adults, had a great time. We ordered calamari, shrimp and mussels for appetizers. They were all good, but the calamari was exceptional. For entrees, two ordered paella, one fetticine and I ordered a flat bread pizza. All very good! They also have excellent margaritas. It's definitely worth a try!

We have eaten at Spoodles every trip since they opened. Some trips you will find us there 3 or 4 times. We love both breakfast and dinner.

Going to Spoodles for breakfast is the only thing my DH has requested we do this Oct. We had a ps for 7:30 in 2003 and to be the only ones in the restaurant with such a beautiful view of the boardwalk and water was wonderful.

We also enjoy the Spoodles breakfast. A nice and quiet way to start your day with great food and atmosphere. I absolutely recommend their breakfast pizza/flat bread.

Love Spoodles eat here twice in December once for dinner and once for breakfast both times the food was very good. Service very good. Would definitely return.

YUK!

We tried it back in November for the first time. Had a horrible experience - the food was terrible. Dried up chicken, overcooked steak (sent back 3x). We were quite disappointed. But, there are folks that like it - so you must try for yourself.
