Spoodles or Whispering Canyon???

Hey! We were planning on eating Spoodles the night we arrive, but I have seen pictures etc about Whispering Canyon and it looks like fun! What would you do??? No room for both, we have PS ourselves like CRAZY trying to make sure everyone eats where they want. Spoodles has always been a toss up!!

Can't vouch for Spoodles but can confirm that WC is tons of fun and good eats, too!

Hi Woodcourt,

Well, it's up to you...two different experiences!

At Spoodles you'll get a traditional dining experience with quasi-Mediterranean food (I think they used to be more daring when they first opened, now they're playing it safer).

At WCC you'll get anything but a traditional dining experience, with BBQ food.

We like both restaurants for completely different reasons!

Well I have never been to WC but my understanding is that is a VERY different atmoshere. I would like to try WC someday and for an arrival night it would be fun to act a little crazy. With that all said, Spoodles is one our favorites restaurants. The food is really good and we love the Boardwalk location. We try to go every trip since we discovered it. We usually follow up dinner with just exploring the Boardwalk area which could also be a really fun way to spend your arrival night.

If you just want lots of crazy fun I would pick WC.
If you want good food and are not too tired then eat at Spoodles and hang out at the Boardwalk after dinner.

For me it would have to be Spoodles. Great food and the Boardwalk is the perfect place for your first night. Time it right and you could watch Illuminations from international gateway.

My vote goes to WCC - we've eaten at both and prefer the food and fun of WCC. Spoodles was good, but for us (4 adults and 1 child), it just wasn't as good as many of the Mediterranean-style restaurants we've enjoyed in NYC or NJ (that being said, the appetizers were tasty and preferred over the so-so entrees).

A vote for Spoodles. The WCC is great for some people, but I am one who doesn't enjoy the loud antics at dinner. I like a peaceful, quiet meal, and get enough screaming, yelling, and noise at the parks--dinner is a time to unwind a little bit and relax. Really depends on what you are looking for.
