Hi

If you have an annual pass and collect the sponsors you get an extra year - but as I understand it only if you go within the month preceding your annual pass running out the actual words are

My french isn't good enough to know exactly what this means - our passports expire on 19th October - and the ideal date for us to go again would be 19th October - but would that count? or do we need to renew before 19th September?

Can anyone translate? does anyone know? have tried to phone the annual passport helpline, but can't get a person only a french automated voice and again my french isn't good enough.

Has anyone extended their passport using the deal? if so was it in the direct month preceding or in the one before that?

I take it as 'present oneself in the month prior to expiration'. Otherwise the opportunity to extend is lost.

Having said that, I wasn't really clear on how this works either - someone sponsored me and the CM did say that he would need to come in the next few days to renew. I know that he was linked to me as I saw his record and photo as she accessed his account and then opened an account for my AP.

Perhaps someone who has successfully completed the extension can comment.

I finally got through to an English speaking person who said that as long as the current passport was valid it was renewable so therefore the very last day was OK.

I hope that is the case because I have just sent my Sun vouchers off for another cheapo caravan holiday and our first choice date is the 19th October so that we don't have to take the kids out of school as its half-term, we will get to the park mid-afternoon on the day our passports expire - cutting it fine or what???

If anyone knows differently PLEASE let me know as we would change the dates if necessary rather than miss out on the additional passes.

I believe as long as your current one is still valid it will be okay. They will add extra's benefits before the last moth if you like too:goodvibes

Ahh - now thats interesting. We will probably be 'passing' Disney en route to our summer camping trip so we could always call in during August to see if they would extend the pass then. Wasn't planning a trip - but if we time it right we could maybe spend a couple of hours in the park to break the journey on the grounds it won't actually cost us anything to do it.

I have done this with my DH and childrens passes on the last day with no problem.
