**spoilers*** Lost Season Five **spoilers**

I completely agree with you. Maybe this is what turns Ben bad...

I was thinking that, combined with the way his dad treated him, I guess that's enough to make anyone into a bad guy. I'm so on the fence about Ben...I feel bad for him because he had a rough life, but at the same time he is such a d-bag

Who are Darlton, Rebecca and Illana???? Thanks

I haven't had a chance to listen to the latest podcast, but "Darlton" refers to Damon Lindelhof and Carlton Cuse, the producers of Lost who do the podcast. Isn't Rebecca the first name of the actress who plays/played Charlotte? I don't know why they're apologizing to her - in last week's podcast, they addressed the issue of the conflict about Charlotte's age on the show, saying that the actress who played Charlotte "changed" Charlotte's age because she didn't want to appear (or she really wasn't) that old. Maybe they're apologizing for revealing her real age?:confused3

Thank you. Shows you how much (or little) I really know about Lost.

They are apologizing for the confusion on her age.

Well, judging from all the posts on this thread and the "no spoilers" thread, there are a LOT of us who don't know very much about Lost, so you're definitely not alone!:rotfl2:

They are apologizing to Rebecca because it came out that Rebecca posted on her facebook that the story Darlton told about her changing Charlotte's age was not true. She had nothing to do with it and she was upset that they blamed it on her. Darlton admitted after doing more investigating that it was the writers who screwed up not Rebecca and they apologized for accusing her of doing it.

Darlton are the producers/writers of Lost, Damon and Carlton. They do the podcast. And Rebecca is, I assume, Rebecca Mader who plays Charlotte. I haven't listened to the podcast yet to know why they are apologizing to her.

ETA:Oops. I see the question has been answered already.

imdb.com has Kim Robbins (the actress who played Cassidy) in next week's episode. It'll be interesting to see her and Kate together again (at least that's where I'm guessing the story line will head).

Cassidy Phillips, mother of Sawyers daughter, Clementine

Here's a great site for character listings.

and who is "Cassidy"???

Cassidy is Sawyer's former girlfriend, who got pregnant with his daughter, Clementine.

When Jack, Kate, Hurley and Sawyer were flying in the helicopter to the freighter, the helicopter's fuel lines were punctured and they had to reduce the weight in the helicopter. Sawyer jumped into the ocean after whispering something to Kate. It hasn't been confirmed, but some folks said that Sawyer asked Kate to find his daughter. My theory is that Kate left Aaron with Cassidy before she returned to the island. But most of my theories are usually wrong, so we'll see!:rotfl:

Oh, and if you click on 'profile' under the character's picture you get lots of info, including some quotes made by the character. I'm :lmao:at the Sawyer ones.

.

And here's "duh" moment for me: I subscribe to the about.com Lost weekly newsletter, and in their list of theories, it contained this:

Ben is not interested in helping the island, he’s interested in destroying it. Everything about the island has caused him pain. His father’s despondency, displaced anger and rage, as well as the possibility that the only friends he has on the island – Annie, maybe Charlotte – have left. He is isolated on the island. This is underscored by his statement to Sayid: “I hate this place.”

I never thought that Ben hated the island, but this might just be true. (and yes, I know Ben said "I hate it here", not "I hate this place") He killed off the Dharma Initiative and joined the Others as their leader, and then it became obvious that John was supposed to take over as leader. This would cause Ben to hate the island even more. So maybe he didn't urge the Oceanic 6 to return to save their friends and to save the island, but for some other devious purpose.

What do you think?

I've said it before, that Ben is a master manipulator. So, I totally believe your theory. He definitely has his own agenda. And I don't think it has anything to do with saving anybody or anything but himself.

Have to this show is getting on my nerves.

If Syaid wanted Ben dead he should have cut off his head or something the island couldn't have fixed so easily.

This is Lost, it is entirely possible. :thumbsup2

Mark Pellegrino will be playing Jacob

"Young James meets Jacob at his dad's funeral."

IMDB now confirms that Ellie was indeed Young Eloise Hawking.

In order to protect Aaron, Kate begins to unravel the lie that Sawyer has carefully conceived to protect the group. But when Sayid escapes it becomes clear to Horace that there is a traitor within Dharma and the island's latest arrivals all come under suspicion…

Set scoop:

- Something goes horribly wrong with the construction of a Dharma station.
- A recent shoot might clue us into how Marvin Candle lost his arm.
- One death happens before the finale and one might occur during.

More spoilers:

1. Big shoot at Byodo-In Temple: Sun and Jin's wedding.
2. Shoot in Waikiki featuring a battered or injured Locke.
3. Return to the beach camp with the Losties... and Bernard and Rose.
4. Double funeral for Sawyer's parents, where young Sawyer meets Jacob.

There is also confirmed a young Juliet. Could it be that Jacob is like Abbadon or Alpert and visiting the losties at important parts in their lives? e.g. the Kwons' wedding, death of Sawyer's father . . .
