I have a question. We have been looking at a trip for November and planning to arrive on November 10th and stay through the 15th. Free dining for the public starts on November 12th. I really don't want to adjust our dates because my DS is starting to school this year and I don't want to keep him out for too many days. We picked this because school is out on Thursday for Veteran's Day and the time we would be there goes through the weekend. Also, I work part time and I can keep from having to miss work so many days without pay by putting my days off altogether and adjusting my schedule. So I was thinking about doing a room only for the first two nights (and even hoping for a room only discount for that!) and then booking the package for free dining for the last three and putting my tickets with the package. I read on the Theme Parks board on the ticket sticky that you can pick up package tickets up to 3 days early, so that should work out for the tickets for the beginning of the trip. My other question would be about the room. How does that work, do you have to check out and move rooms if it is in the same resort? Or can you just stay in your same room and it just be a matter of formality in checking out and checking back in under the package? I was just wondering how much of a hassle this is going to be if we decide to do this. I mean we would do what we have to do, but I was just wondering what to expect. I try to keep things as hassle free as possible.
