We are torn between staying on site for a few groceries and getting a car/taxi for one day for them(maybe do a character outlet on vineland, also)....how expensive is bread/milk/beer etc. in the sundry shops on site?

Is it worth the fares(or wegoshop cost) for just a few things...

now, I cannot promise that the beer budget may jump if we start having fun........;)

thanks for any info

It's not shockingly outrageous. We had a car, but ran out of milk for our cereal. I bought some at a shop at the CR...I think it was $2.20 for a half gallon...yes, almost twice what it is at home, but not worth giving up valuable vacation time to drive to a store about.

When we used wegoshop.com in June, my grocery total was about $35 and then a $15 delivery charge. But, I got exactly what I wanted. Fresh, dairy, meats, bakery, fruits, water, snacks etc. I never had to go to the shop in our resort once and that was nice. I hate the thought of driving off-site to shop and waste time when I could be in a park or at the pool relaxing. If you are going to have a car anyway then I would stop on the way from the airport. I just love the ease of wegoshop.com.
