Thinking about our fast passes as there are 6 of us and I'm doing all the planning! :scared1:

It's a bit of a mare as my DM doesn't go on anything really - well, IASW and Peter Pan types, and my DSD probably won't want to go on everything we want to! So, how can I do this - I have no idea and they don't either. Every time I mention FPs or rides they just say 'oh, I'll do whatever' :headache:. I think DM just seems to think I can use her FPs wherever on the day but it doesn't work like that!

As DM gets 3 FPs per day, could I allot all of her FPs for Wishes fireworks on one day for example? Or do they have to be all different choices? Any way around this? I can't get my head around it at all?

I'm not even there yet and I really don't like the idea of FP+ :rolleyes1. I am expecting to not be able to grab many headliners or fireworks/parade FPs as a 4th FP option as tracking availability, they simply aren't available on the day :sad2:. Yes, in some ways it means you stand a chance of getting some rides and you know they are booked, but I think after your 3, the outlook is bleak in peak season!

On a similar vein, if I were to cancel a FP on the day, can I go and book another FP straight away, or do I have to wait until the time of the cancelled FP has run out? Also, can I do this on a mobile device or do I have to go to kiosks to do it if I were doing it on the day?

Sorry about the questions - I thought I had this all sorted in my head - but clearly not :headache:.

you can choose fp+ separately for each party member
just tick the box in front of each party member you wish to select fp+ for

you can also select all
but each guest can have different fp+

they all have to be different and you MUST select 3

a way around is to make fake fp+ selections, for rides she's not going to ride
someone in your party may also borrow her magic band to use her fp+ for rides she won't do but don't tell anyone I suggested this ;)

never cancel a fp+ unless you cancel them all
always use the ''change'' feature to change your fp into another one, this way if nothing you like is available you keep your old fp

for fps 1 to 3 you can do it on your mobile
fp+ #4 and up can only be managed at the kiosks

Thanks for the reply :goodvibes. I guess I'll have to see how it goes when it comes to booking them. I think it best just to book us all the same and then change for them if they want nearer the time - I can't see them wanting too many headliners/biggies anyway.

We had a very similar situation in October when we travelled with my DH's parents. The most sensible thing to do is to decide what rides you are all likely to want to do - for example, we all did Soarin' at Epcot so that was the obvious choice for an Epcot day. We also used a FP at MK for the parade - it was a good way of getting a decent spot without having to stake out a spot hours before.

The best bet is to book them all the same, then change individual FPs for those people who might want to do something different. My in-laws were quite happy to just wander most of the time and not ride most things so sometimes we just used their bands for a second ride.

Like Joh we took my inlaws last summer.

To start with I booked all the FPs the same then changed some I knew they wouldn't do like R'n'R ;) I booked the TSM instead as we very very rarely ride it - none of are that fussed that we would give a RnR FP for it and we wouldn't stand in the standby line either.

I did other similar things for Space, Everest etc

Just an FYI on booking FPs even if you don't choose 3 it will give you 3.

Thanks all - looks like I just copy them all the same and then try and change when we get there and they know what they'd like to do. DM is happy not to ride much and just wander but tbh, 1 spare FP isn't much good to the other 5 of us! :lmao:
