Splitting a meal: Using some DDP credits and paying some OOP

Long time lurker, but only my 2nd post. I apologize if this is answered elsewhere but my search came up empty.

If we do the DDP, is it possible at a TS restaurant for some portion of the party to order off the non-DDP menu while the rest of the party uses their TS credits? Example, 3 people at our table use their TS credit and order off the DDP but two others choose to pay for an appetizer and an entree?

I hope that makes sense. I can see that being easy to do at a CS restaurant I'm just not sure if it will work in a TS.

The answer is yes, it's absolutely fine. You can split the check up and pay with whatever method you have to pay with however you desire.

It's good practice to let the server know in advance of ordering how you want to split it up, it just makes it easier on them to enter it into the system and keep everything straight.
