Hi everyone, I hope this is the right board to post this question.

I have a question with regards to split stays - tix and ddp in particular. I've rented points for BWV for January and plan to add the DDP. I'm now considering adding 3 nights and staying at a monorail resort and would like to add the DPP to that portion too.

My question is this: if I book the monorail resort as a package, and instead of 3 day tickets I order 7 days (online allows you to do this), could I active the tix when I check in at BWV, or can those tix only be activated when I book into the second resort? OR, am I going to have to order tix for the BWV separately, and purchase a minimum one day ticket with the second resort?

This is too early in the morning to be trying to figure all this complicted stuff out...!

TIA!

When you're staying on points at BWV, you can just do the dining plan...you'd have to get your tickets separate anyway...

Can you add Poly to the beginning of the stay? Then you could just purchase the minimum number of days with the package and upgrade the tickets when you get there (or just buy them for the 7 days with the package)

If you stay at the Poly after BWV you'd have to buy other tickets, and add a one day ticket to the package at the poly. You could save those one day tickets and use them for another trip.

I don't think you can get your package stay tickets prior to your stay. If you need tickets for your BWV stay, they may need to be separate from your monorail resort stay. Call CRO and find out if you can get your tickets ahead of time.

I would like to know what you find out, please post the answer. I know from dealing with CR, there is one discount on the package not two. Other wise you can't have the room at a discount and get the DDP or that is what CR told me, the ticket has to be bought through Disney. I wanted to do this last Thanksgiving and couldn't because I was going to lose the AP discount on AK Savannah view on 3 rooms. It was cheaper for us to eat on our own and buy our tickets from a Discount Broker.
