split stayers - please help me out

Considering a split stay for our next trip. We have a package at GF (5 nite room and 6 day park hoppers) for late October. We are thinking of staying 2 nites at AKL prior.

What is the best way to do park tickets? It seems rather expensive to buy a day of tickets to go to Animal Kingdom once and then have our other package at the GF.

Just add the extra days on to your package. The tickets can be for longer than the package. This will save you a ton. I would call and make sure you can get ahold of the tickets in advance since your package stay is last. If not, can you switch the package to AKL? And use extended tickets for your GF stay.
