split stay?

Good Morning!

Planning our next trip and wondering if split stays between resorts works well. We will be starting at POR, then moving to Contemporary. I figure we will be at MK the day we check into CR. We are doing the split stay due to lack of availability of rooms.

My wife and I love to split our stay. It feels like 2 trips. We prefer to take a cab with our luggage when we transfer. From POR to Poly it was around $10 to $15. You may enjoy your trip even more and decide to split stays again. We did it the lsat time because we wanted to stay at the Poly but couldn't afford the whole trip there. We are doing the same thing on our next trip in Jan.

we went in march with our 6 year old, and 2 two year olds, we had to switch from OKW to Saratoga Springs due to availability. 4 nights at one and three at the other. I was very stressed awaiting the switch...we packed up in the morning before heading to the park and stored luggage with the bellman, then left park for lunch/naptime and switched hotels. It was super easy and we were able to get a room early at SS. Definitely woth it and felt like another vacation!
