Split stay WL & AK - Questions

Hello Everyone,

We are planning a trip in early Feb 2006. We were originally going to spend 7 nights at the WL (which we love!) on the dining plan if it is still afforable. My 5 year old DS has been asking to stay at the AKL - we have never been there. We are thinking about surprising him by spending the last 2 nights for our trip at AKL.

Are 2 nights enough time at the AKL? Any comments or ideas are greatly appreciated!!

Hi there,

We just got back from a split stay at AKL/VWL.

We stayed at the AKL for 2 nights then moved to the VWL.

I felt like it was enough time, I made sure that we "planned" to stay at the resort in the evenings and part of the day to take advantage of all of the lodge offerings.

On our last morning we got up early and were sitting out on our balconey watching the animals on the Savannah.

When we were sitting out there we saw two giraffes running around the Savannah-to view this was absolutely breathtaking!!!

Definetly worth it to split your stay in my opinion.
