We are thinking about doing the split stay below. Should I worry about moving around/ switching resorts so much during our wedding/ honeymoon? Has anyone regretted not staying in one place? If spring break and the cruise dates work out well, there is a chance I might add on a day at AKL to make it 4 nights. We would stay at the Poly the whole time, but our families are staying at AKL and we do want to be able to spend time at the pool with them during the day and as a bonus, it is cheaper.
  • 2 nights Poly for Wedding Day (Memories collection on Luau Beach)
  • 3 nights AKL
  • 3 nights Disney Cruise

Thoughts?

As long as you're not checking out and back in on the day of the wedding, you should be fine. We stayed 5 different places during our 2-week honeymoon. If you have everything you're going to need that day with you, you can have Bell Services transfer your luggage from the Poly to AKL for you while you're at the parks. Personally, I love to hotel hop as long as I can stay at least 2 nights in one place.

It seems fine to me. We actually had four different rooms over the two weeks we were there for our wedding. It would have been nice to stay in one room the whole time, but that is outweighed by us being able to stay at (and fall in love with) three resorts that were new to us.
