Split stay between two seasons

Just curious... if I split my vacation between two seasons how are the points tabulated? Based on our plan, the first night would be in one season and the remaining nights fall in another. Will DVC base the total points on the first season since that is when the vacation begins? Or will they apply the points each night based on the actual season in which they fall? Please help... I am so confused! It may make the difference in whether we go or not.

Points are established by night/date. So for nights in the one season - you would use that amount from the charts, and then move to the next season for the other days. There is no "weekly" amount, just nightly amounts. Quoting points in weeks only works when you stay 7 days during the same season.
